okay so headcanon is that bill was the first one to spurt out the eloquent vocabulary first, which TED became second to catch onto. my evidence for this reason is because of bill’s father as seen in the first movie. & i sort of noticed that bill had the tendency to use the smarter diction than ted, NOT SAYING THAT TED DOESN’T SPURT OUT SIMILAR, UNIQUE PHRASING EITHER. just that it’s apparent to start off in bill, then ted.
