i mean i can’t speak for him, but i got love for him. just still confused on where the love turned to hate when i didn’t do shit too him. so i wanna give him something to really hate.

Showing fashionably late at the event, Joanna takes one of the seats left vacant. Her eyes survey the venue, the setup and decor being intriguing to her senses. Hearing the clearing of the male’s throat, she fixes her attention on him as he greets everyone. Joanna’s facial features screw up as he mentions the possible contents of the boxes positioned under the seats. “Excuse me, what?” Her brows habitually lift in shock as she gazes over at the male. “Did he say spiders, roaches.. and scorpions?” She quizzes the person next to her, her mouth slightly agape.

putting the box down,  she made a face a cool shiver running down her back as she looked at it on that table. “yeah i know, i would rather they didn’t ask us what we wanted to eat. my mouth watering for some food and i can’t even eat. after this is all over i’m gonna order some food. if i survive the night that is.”

setting up the camera in front of her, bahati turned on the ring light in front of her and fluffed her hair out to make sure she looked good. “i honestly don’t know why i even try to look good for these, i’m not really talking to anyone in particular. but hmph, here it goes.” chuckling to herself she checked her lip gloss, before finally clearing her throat. 

“where do i begin? this week well, it hasn’t been the best. i won’t say it was all bad because i got to spend it doing what i love who i love right by my side buttt.” twisting her lips she sat back in the chair taking a quick pause. “i got into some beef with my baby daddy, over the innanets.” her daughter had been just in the other room and with the door being open and them being in view of each other, she had to be cautious of what to say although she was sleep, she didn’t want to be too loud. “i’m not gonna say what i’m thinking, because my stinka is in the other room and i don’t wanna be all loud and have her hearing something she shouldn’t.” making a face, she sighed re adjusting her position getting closer to the camera so she could speak. “ honestly, i’m sick of di and his constant attitude, he always tries to blame me and say i’m the one who starts stuff, but that ni- guy can hold a grudge like he getting paid for it.” rolling her eyes, bahati leaned in towards the camera . “honestly speaking, what i said? i wouldn’t do it. mainly for my child, because she would be unhappy. besides not having a parent isn’t an ideal situation.” shrugging her shoulders she lowered her tone a few

“honestly that alone been a mess whew chile, but um he been testing me. i tried to be nice when we were together be supportive. all that extra pick me ish that didn’t work so now? i’m done and i think he not used to not seeing the woman that would go to bat for him so he think i’m hurt and i’m still caught up on him, when really? i’m just not putting up with the disrespect i used to.” talking with her hand motions she continued  “i’m just gonna have show him he ain’t the only crazy person. ahkay? period.” sitting back in her chair she did a small little giggle. 

“other than that, honestly i’m focused on myself and my family. my brother got into a fight that left him pretty badly injured. i’ve been making sure destiny was good so honestly i haven’t been able to check on him, so i’m gonna have to do that. i saw him go live on YouTube earlier and i can say i’m happy for him. genuinely, i just wish others would get help for what they need.”  making a judgmental face to the camera she rolled her neck before laughing. 

“ ah, well i’m also working on some stuff. i want to branch out, i have a couple of gigs lined up that i’m really excited for. i also have a visit i’m trying to take soon. i have to see someone really important, i just hope that everything lines up.” shrugging her shoulders she blew a raspberry before slapping her hands against her legs. “i guess that’s it. hopefully i have some more positive news next week. byeeee.”

“i just said it didn’t, but i’m fine with that.” laughing to herself she covered her mouth following his eyes over to where they had landed. “oh you tryna get drunk drunk? say that then.” pushing her hair behind her ears, she readjusted her weight getting off of the wall she was previous leaning on getting prepared to take shots with him. “you pick the liquor then since you over here basically calling me a baby cause i’m not drinking something strong enough. don’t kill me though, i will haunt you ! ”

“see so then tequila it is!” she smiled her hand hitting the table as she adjusted her position, she reached over and grabbed the bottle. “see well don’t you work at a club anyway? so you’ve probably had every good drink in the book, huh?”  as she questioned, her brow peaked  while reaching for an empty cup handing her the combination, BAHATI stood in thought before speaking again. “mmm, so what would you be trying that you haven’t tried before?”

“i mean you didn’t need to be out all summer, but did you plan on coming out at all?” BAHATI teased turning her lips up. gasping in shock she held her hand to her chest. “me? you’ve seen me on snap living my best life? i wish, i’ve been able to get out here and there, but i haven’t been out as much as i used to, but this? it’s mostly juice i can’t lie.” shrugging she showed her the cup. “pineapple juice and tequila. you want a drink?”

turning her nose up by how abruptly her brother approached her BAHATI kissed her teeth feeling the cup being snatched from her. rolling her eyes, she flipped her hair over her shoulder before she reached for her cup back. “i just wanted to have fun for a minute, i didn’t plan on being here long damn. you here ain’t you? so what’s the problem? i need to be doing whatever i wanna do.”

looking up to see the familiar face, BAHATI  shook her head “nah, it would’ve hit me by now” she mentioned watching him try to look into her cup. pulling her cup closer to her chest she rolled her eyes. “aht, mind your business and get your own drink.” she said, laughing as she pushed him away slightly. “shots you say? mmm, you gon’ take some with me or was that just an empty handed suggestion.”

glancing up at her cousin, BAHATI shook her head, in slight disbelief. “i was like this close.” she said with her fingers pinched together, nearly no gap in between the two. chuckling she took another sip from her drink while glancing at her cousin from the brim of her cup, before deciding to speak. “i’m surprised YOU actually made it out, what’s the special occasion. you finally got some free time for us common folk?”

hearing her mention the upkeep of herself, reminded BAHATI to adjust her own top, chuckling softly as she did so she nodded in agreement. “i’m hoping to just have a good time tonight, honestly. i need a good night for once.” glancing over she twisted her lips up in thought as she trid to make a selection. tapping her fingers against the surface in front of them she paused. “umm, i had a couple of different options. i was thinking some tequila  because you can’t really go wrong with some light. you ever had casamigos? its climbing to the top of my fave list slowly.”

Applying a coat of lip gloss across her duo, BAHATI glanced around the room not really sure of where to stand she awkwardly moved around the room before finally landing near an empty space. Putting her cup to her lips, she hummed to the music playing while moving her hips in the rhythm. “ i’m not gonna lie, i needed to go out. but i don’t know if i need another  drink or what to loosen up but something, something is missing. or is it just me?” she asked, turning to the person who was next to her.

The music emitting through the building created a satisfying feeling as her ears captured it. She was actually in a mood to be out tonight and was relieved this particular party was being thrown. She had already mingled around some and was taking a bathroom break. There was an adjustment made to her top before Candiace stepped out and went back into the crowd. Her orbs became familiarized with the person she spotted by the bar. She sauntered over towards them, speaking with an illuminating smile worn as well. “Haaaay, are you just getting here?”
