We shared a womb in which our beautiful mother assisted us for moments where only she could keep her eyes on us. Being a big brother is a lot of work but worth every moment you looked up to me as an untouchable being from day one. His mother didn’t approve at all yet, Fox continued to come around taking the young misguided male under his wing. “Like this?” Basil attempted to fire three shots off one missing the other two causing someone’s car windows to shatter. “Ooh, shit! Ay’ I did that motherfucker.” Proud of his accomplishment, he turned to see his mother standing with her arms crossed. “Get yo’ ass in this fucking house boy. Now!” Embarrassed by her loud mouth he mumbled handing the loaded steel to his OG heading inside of their house. “Can’t do shit around this bitch. Are you getting any help? No. So, why can’t I do what’s necessary for us, huh?” Chilli faced her son with her pointer finger in his face, “Watch your damn mouth. Hey! I’m talking to you. I told you, I don’t want you selling drugs or in that damn bullshit with Rodney. Here you are doing it anyways. I have everything under control if you just let me do it by myself.” She declared staring at him. “You don’t have shit. You know that? I’m not blind. A man is supposed to provide. Is there a man here? Yes. I can say a whole bunch of shit to hurt your feelings, I won’t because you’re my mother. I’m asking for you to trust me for once in a damn life time because we all could have more.” He stepped back out of arm’s reaching aware she might just strike him for the blatant disrespect. “I don’t have wh—” She slapped him across his face glaring with a stern tone, “You watch your motherufucking mouth! I am trying to do the best I can with all of you and your bad ass siblings. In fact, since you’re grown get yo’ ass out. Don’t come back until you get some damn sense.” He stood there silent her words weren’t hurtful instead they motivated Basil, looking his mother in the eyes he replied calm shrugging his shoulders. “Okay, bye.” Walking off heading down the hall towards the rooms pushing his door open he began packing all clothing, whether if it was hanging or folded the items were neatly placed into duffle bags, hearing voices Basil rushed knowing his siblings would try to persuade him other wise zipping the bag up he exited through their window. “I’ll take care of everyone watch me.” He said, carrying his bags out to the car pulling his phone out making a call confirming some business plans.
