(I don’t advise anybody try this!) transferring/layering cut up copy pictures to paper w/ acetone and burnishing. acetone is a solvent, so it's not good for archival art making and has noxious fumes. Artists/ graphic designers did this artwork in the 80′s-90′s. ....but it looks cool to me!
id this in zombie mode. 3 hr nap couldn't fool my body that I didn't get 8-hrs. last night. not my best photo editing for cropping and nit-picks. will work on a little more on the actual painting.
Near the Poughkeepsie Train Station I love that I can squint at this piece I did and it’ll feel more detailed. emphasizing the projecting room above the entrance would be helpful if I worked on it more. I just like paintings I can make in one sitting...or “standing” in this scenario
More Portraits from life!
Thx to acrylic extender, I can paint one portrait and get two monoprints (oxymoronic yes) These are made based on life, not photo.
It took 30 some-odd minutes to make these portraits. I did these all one afternoon at Beacon Bath and Bubble, Beacon, NY.
PEN SKETCHES in order of left-right and down: “Small Desk and Hairdryer” “Virgin Pina Colada” “Dutch Barn” “Escalator BarnsandNoble” “Fire Truck Toy”
In short, it’s a comic strip I’m making as personal work. It’s about to excentric creative young adults. One works at an art supplies chain store while the other one was fired. They run a lousy podcast out of a closet. I don’t like how this drawing turned out but am determined better results will happen for succeeding strips.
I don’t play video games but I know that the kingdom hearts characters were reimagined as monsters from the monsters inc. world. Well, being a HUGE Reviewbrah fan I decided to “monsterify” this beloved food consumer. I do backflips everytime this guy uploads a review, monologue, or miscellaneous expo. He’s different but there is no facade to destroy because he is genuine...yet I feel like he’s prithee to a twilight zone that we can only sample through some of his jokes despite him being a native to our world!
a work-in-progress zine about a d.i.y. project. made on found paper scraps w/ collage and hand drawn cartoons. "Interested in a cheap alternative for storing artwork?" is a...a working title.
Heaven must be like the animations playing during end credits to a late 90′s anime on cable where the main characters just indulge in casual activities together but are fastforwarded to save time.
Just a doodle I did. ...it low-key took longer than a doodle should take. Drawing cute animals with sarcastic or sassy expressions is my favorite.
IT’S HERE. Robbie Rotten, Pixel, and Pink Protagonist person fused together with Kaiba, Chroniko, and Vanilla from the anime Kaiba. I wish I could say I finished it in just one day. maybe next time!
It’s the same drawing but I added a glowing shadow to it. It’s Kaiba from the anime Kaiba fused with ya boi Robbie Rotten. A trio is coming soon of Chronico, Kaiba, and Vanilla as LazyTown characters.
CURSED IMAGE CANNOT BE UNSEEN. well I took my favorite anime and mixed it with Robbie Rotten. What anime? Kaiba from the short series Kaiba... This will be a part of a trio of character fusions crossing over Lazy Town and Kaiba. This work-in-progress will probably get deleted.
