2016 personal masterpost

Last year, I made my 2015 personal masterpost, where I did a summary of the year. I loved making it and looking back at it, so I decided to do the same for 2016.

January

• I feel like this first month of 2016 was dedicated to friendship, every weekend we did parties and we also went to Disneyland Paris.

February

• On the 25th of February, my friend Sophie and I went to an Ellie Goulding concert and had so much fun.

March

• March 10th, I saw Selena Gomez during a NRJ Interview. She was so sweet and happy to see fans. When we were outside I told her “Hi my love” and she responded “Hiii” with a beautiful smile. 

• March 25th, I went to a temporary amusement park in Paris called “Foire du Trône” and spent a cool evening there with Fiona and Roxane.

April

• April 15th, I met Charli XCX during a m&g organized for the opening of the Boohoo pop up store in Paris. I had the time to talk to her, take pictures and hug her several times (video one - video two). She was so adorable and lovely.

• For the holidays I went to Brussels, Netherlands, and Amsterdam with my family.

• April 30rd - May 1st, first convention EVER with Roxane and her sister. This convention was about the show The 100, one of my favorite. 11 actors were there and I did photoshoots with Marie Avgeropoulos (Octavia), Chelsey Reist (Harper), Isaiah Washington (Jaha) and Richard Harmon (Murphy). This weekend was amazing.

I did a thread on twitter of my whole experience : part 1 and part 2. Thanks to this event, I also met for the first time a twitter friend, Jaëlle (pic here).

May

• Went to Bretagne (France) with my mom.

• May 17th, 5 Seconds of Summer concert with Fiona and Roxane.

• May 25th, I saw Charli XCX live for a Makeup Forever event with Justine and Roxane.

June

• Exam results : first year of university validated.

• June 8th, I won two tickets to see Ariana Grande live for a HP event. And even if she said that she was sick, she still sang beautifully. Plus, she tweeted something lovely for us.

• June 9th, I went to the opening show of the UEFA Euro (broadcast on television) at Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower with Lucile, Mirana, and Thibault. The coolest moment was the second part of the evening with the DJ David Guetta, everyone danced like crazy. 

• On June 10th, happened the only sad moment of the year that I’m going to talk about in this post. This day I woke up with terrible news : the night before, my beautiful and talented Christina Grimmie was shot. She is one of my idol and I still can’t believe that she’s gone. I will love her forever and ever. She will always be in my heart.

• June 23rd, I saw for the first time Little Mix and they were amazing. At the end, we (the fans) sang Cannonball, it was such a beautiful and emotional moment.

July

• Travelled to Corsica (France) with my family.

• Travelled for the first time with my friends (Lucile, Mirana, Sixtine, and Thibault) to Lisbon (Portugal). Honestly a trip that I will never forget.

August

• Went to Bretagne (France), to see my grand mother and cousins.

• Travelled to Ireland with my family, and went to incredibly beautiful places.

• Did a farewell party, because my friend Lucile left France to study in Canada for one year.

September

• Holidays are over, back to university.

• I become half vegetarian (I don’t eat meat anymore).

October

• October 27th, I went to Disneyland Paris for Halloween with Océane and two of her friends.

November

•  November 19th, I met and saw live Cimorelli for the first time, after wanting to see them for sooooo long. 

• November 22th, I won a contest to go to the Glory Days signing! I was able to talk to them and tell how much I love them, they were the sweetest.

• November 25th, my friend Roxane won a contest to go to a Volkswagen event where Charli XCX was performing! We went together with friends.

December

• Because I wasn’t able to do a party for my birthday, my friends came in front of my university after my classes to celebrate it (I know they’re fucking awesome).

• Christmas with my family.

• Roadtrip to Bretagne and Rouen (France) with Fiona.

• New Year’s Eve with friends and we had so much fun together.

So that's what happened to me in 2016. I thought this year was kinda bad for some reasons, but after doing this masterpost I changed my mind, 2016 was a great year. But hey, let's make 2017 even better ! Love x

She’s just a very real person, and you don’t meet many actresses that are super real and down-to-earth and genuine and are extremely talented on top of all that, so she kind of has the whole thing going on, and she’s an awesome person. I really hit it off with her. I’m one of those people who watches horrible YouTube videos until three in the morning and just laughs at the most random stuff. Both Jennifer Lawrence and I love random, awkward humour. Jennifer is incredible to work with, really she is so much fun and such an idiot but such a genius at the same time, I just love being around her and we have such a great time together. I love scaring her and making her nervous, because the way she reacts is so funny. I love teasing her that way. And I like doing that specifically to her, not to people in general (laughs). Every single day, no matter how long her night was the night before or how long she’d been working that week, she came to work and was ready to go. She was never sluggish. She always had a great attitude. For both of us, our family is a huge part of our lives. That’s big. That comes from being in Kentucky and having parents that raised us both in the same way. My golden rule growing up was treating people the way you want to be treated and I think Jennifer lives by that code as well. Is Louis Tomlinson The Victim Of An Orchestrated Smear Campaign?

Louis Tomlinson has been subjected to a seemingly never ending stream of negative stories in recent months. One Direction star Louis has been accused of being a

Louis Tomlinson has been subjected to a seemingly never ending stream of negative stories in recent months. One Direction star Louis has been accused of being a deadbeat dad, a serial womanizer, a drunk and a love rat who dumped his pregnant girlfriend to jet off with an actress. Now to be fair some sections of the U.K. media are famous for how they build stars up only to attempt to tear them down again at a later date. It certainly seems that 24-year-old Louis is being subjected to well trodden path of negativity at present.

Many of Tomlinson’s fans will be wondering why One Direction’s mighty publicity machine has not been cranked up to support Louis. One has to wonder if One Direction’s forthcoming hiatus has led the band’s management to believe that by taking a lengthy break Tomlinson and his band-mates will cease to be relevant. As a result they are unwilling to invest in protecting a brand that they believe may be passed its sell-by date by the time they return.

It may also be the case that by reportedly making Briana Jungwirth pregnant Tomlinson has been seen to damage the One Direction brand. Could it be that One Direction’s management see Tomlinson as damaged goods and are trying to force him into quitting one of the world’s biggest bands?

What is especially baffling about Tomlinson’s media coverage is the fact that there are plenty of major league positive stories that could easily be used to counter the negativity. Earlier this week it was reported in Inquisitr that Tomlinson and his mother Johannah Deakin do a huge amount of unheralded good work with charities and show an extraordinary level of kindness. Oddly whilst Louis quietly continues to do these things his management allows the negative and frequently unfair coverage to continue.

Many fans even believe that One Direction’s management team may be behind much of the negative coverage. It does seem that the sources of the negative press tend to lead back directly or indirectly to Simon Cowell and Syco.

As anyone with a keen interest in Tomlinson or One Direction will know that a lot of negative stories originate in U.K. tabloid the Sun. It was the Sun’s U.S. editor Pete Samson that broke the story that Louis and Briana Jungwirth were to have a baby. Mr Samson is married to Simon Cowell’s PR Chief Anne-Marie Samson.

Sun journalist Dan Wootton is perhaps the man that One Direction fans love to hate. He is often the source of negative stories about Tomlinson and One Direction and yet he and Simon Jones, co-founder of One Direction’s PR company HJPR are believed to be close.

Bauer media group is another major source of negative stories about Tomlinson. The cross platform media group has been the source of numerous articles about Tomlinson and One Direction. Just this week one of Bauer’s magazines, Life and Style ran a piece that intimated that Tomlinson had abandoned Jungwirth leaving her to assemble IKEA furniture by herself just before the baby’s arrival.

Media Week reported back in 2013 that Bauer had hired Mark Hardy in the new role of group digital director for its London lifestyle and radio brands. Hardy was the marketing director for Simon Cowell-owned Syco Entertainment, where he presided over the global launch of One Direction.

Of course the media world is a fairly small club but there are so many links between the outlets trashing Tomlinson’s image and Simon Cowell. Of course Cowell did reportedly assist Tomlinson in setting up his own label under the Sony label and he did call on Louis to appear on X-factor when the show was struggling for ratings.

With so many links from Cowell to these outlets it is hard to believe that influence could not be brought to bear to support Tomlinson’s reputation. It seems that one Direction’s team have no interest in defending Tomlinson. fans will wonder why Tomlinson’s team continue to allow Louis’ reputation to be damaged.

Could it be that Tomlinson’s team have an interest in seeing Louis’ reputation tarnished?
