ya i keep Producing That Content for “if lars is abused” before anything could happen that might suggest he doesn’t have a bad relationship with whoever’s his family

i think a lot of ppl are familiar w/the concept of being upset by exposure to something you’ve associated w/your trauma, but there’s all kinds of wild stuff w/continuous childhood trauma…where u get to develop with it and learn coping methods for how to survive it every day..and u end up with stuff like a hyperactive fight/flight/feign/freeze response cuz since you’re always in danger, it helps to always be on high alert

its not a conscious thing so it doesnt go away with age or even with freedom from the source of trauma, so basically even if you know you’re safe, your fight or flight response can be turned on anytime by anything that somehow recreates your trauma. and depending on the specifics of the response you might not even notice it (cuz whats an extreme experience for people whose limbic system has developed the usual way feels commonplace for someone whose grown up w/trauma) or it can be v intrusive and cause intense feelings of stress / anger

i went and made a gofundme in case anyone has any spare money to help me out trying to make next month work out while my job is figuring itself out and my balance is gonna fall short of all but my smallest bills. i’m mostly thinking of rent (biggest and first monthly expense, naturally) but anything would help with anything

the generals of How and Why i got here is i dropped my job and moved a couple hundred miles away because i’d been living in an abusive home. so things haven’t been super stable and of course i don’t know what i’m doing and you may know my personal brand of being a cool mess

so importantly nothing i’ve got going on is an emergency but any amount of help would only make things easier. seriously donations like less than $5 would be more than fine, even though i know it’s a pain to go through the whole payment process just to send a dollar. it’d be really great still

again its not a huge deal just tryn to smooth things out some, maybe. sorry i cant offer anything in return but even mailing out paperclip bracelets is beyond my abilities right now B/
