My name is Mika. Iām a Libra, if youād like to know, and this my blog for Beacons of Hope! Iām still debating on whether it will be a standalone book or a series- it depends on how much material I ultimately end up with.
The book
The year is 2050- the planet has been overrun by an unknown entity and a cult surrounding it for the past three years. Just a few months prior to the Entityās attack, a few cases of missing persons were reported throughout the planet- not too out of the ordinary, except for one thing. Three years later, these same people re-emerge in odd crystals and are discovered by a group known as the Guardians. Those discovered are called the Crystal Beacons, each one granted a different āelementalā (in quotes because this term may change) power based on the powers these crystals possess. They are taken to a base underground to train- however, plans go awry when a horde of the Entityās forces raid the base, allowing one Guardian, Aurelius, to escape with the Beacons. On dragon back or by their own wind powers, the Beacons make it to an archipelago of floating islands, hidden years ago by ancient Guardians in the sky. The goal now is to figure out just what in the hell the Entity is and try to stop it. But the question is.... How?
