I really feel for the US girls cause Margzetta is absolutely right in saying that time is not on their side and they can’t put their bodies on hold. They don’t have the luxury to wait for usagym to get their shit together. People giving them crap for being “selfish” and “unsupportive of the survivors” or “shallow for worrying about lost meets” really should consider how these girls have worked their whole lives to be great, to get noticed, to make teams and now they don’t know where they will train with the NT, when they will compete, who’s gonna be in charge, how long it’s gonna take for things to get reorganized…like this is a big deal to them and it’s confusing af
At Parkettes today Danae Fletcher from MG elite crash landed on her back on her double tuck and couldn’t move the way Maggie Haney and the assistant coach handled the whole situation was absolutely appalling none of the staff at MG elite showed the slightest bit of concern whatsoever and the way Maggie Haney strolled over to her with no regard after her lying on the floor for 2 minutes was shocking when she was being pulled out with a stretcher neither of the coaches went with her smh

Same thing happened at the Fiesta Bowl qualifier. Double tuck dismount, clipped her toes on the high bar and down on her head. No stretcher or anything though - she was okay. seriously so scary.
McKayla Maroney saved my life
After all the horrible things that have come about with Nassar this past year, I wanted to share this story with you all. I’ve been friends with McKayla since late 2013 when I was still a gymnast. I had awful knees and in 2014 I told her that I may fly out to be treated by Nassar since he had been sending me many exercises to strengthen my knees. He also told me that he would be “more than happy” to work on me. She promptly told me not to go because it wasn’t worth it.. because he wasn’t worth all the hype he gets that he really isn’t the best gymnastics doctor. She told me to just save my money and go to a local sports medicine doctor. That’s what I did. So thank God for her. I will never forget that.

Ok so I was looking around GK's website- Gabby is no longer shown as having a leotard line? Even when you google "gabby douglas leotards" and hit the GK link it shows no items on the page. I wonder what happened?
yeah, someone pointed that out to me a few weeks ago :/ maybe with Laurie’s line they feel like they don’t need it
I think I read something saying that she ended her contract with GK...
