Can u give us some crumbs about Creek, like some facts about him. I want to study this lil guy (don't mind me writing on ambien again)

He's a kind and quiet guy who generally keeps to himself and his hobbies but is outwardly friendly in public, if a bit anxious.

I haven't gotten far enough to have designed him a home or bedroom yet, but in time maybe. I know for sure he makes a nest in his bed full of all sorts of pillows and blankets and keeps his room cold af to have a reason to use the amount of bedding he does haha

have you played Cult of the Lamb by any chance? seems like it might be your thing, I highly recommend it :)

I'm not very good at fighting games, but I do watch my wife play it when they're feeling it! It is very good, even if I don't fully understand what's happening :)

how do you get the inspo to use a certain animal as a character (eg why is creek a banded linseng?)

Tbh I have a tendency to just see an animal and save it for later if the look of it is inspiring in any way, and then ruminate for a random amount of time before using it [I go between using an inspo piece the day I'm inspired, or... several years later] In Creek's case, his initial design was given to me but the only completed parts of the design was the head, below knees and tail. There was no descriptor anywhere for his species and the array of prior fanarts all had their own takes on his species, which I ultimately couldn't discern. But for me personally he reminded me of a banded linsang, an animal I had made a mental note of probably 2 years before then, so I committed to that since it felt an appropriate fit.

It was largely unplanned, I don't think any part of my "process" as an artist or character/creature creator is really interesting or makes any sense when you get down to it.
