You said in your jjk post that the manga is addicted to giving plant names to its characters. Can you tell what characters have plant names and what they symbolize?
The characters with plant names are
Itadori -> Japanese knotweed
Fushiguro -> fushiguro campion
Nobara -> wild rose
Panda -> panda banyan
Aoi -> hollyhock
Momo -> peach
Yoshino -> yoshino cherry
Tsukumo -> Japanese pasque flower
Uraume -> inverse plum
Special thanks to Gojou's self-proclaimed wife, Dar Rekishi, for compiling this list. I'm practically just translating her meta more so than I'm writing my own.
Japanese knotweed
In flower language, the Japanese knotweed means "does match its own appearance". There's a lot of ways to tie this to Itadori's two sides as himself and Sukuna, but in Akutami's interview on Mandou Kobayashi, they explained that they simply picked the name of a medicinal herb because Itadori was a protagonist who saves people, so I'm not sure if any deeper meaning was intended on this one specifically.
Japanese knotweeds are really nice as medicinal herbs, but on the flip side, the Japanese knotweed is one of the most invasive species in the world, so I think the plant choice also doubles as a nod to Itadori's (or rather Sukuna's) status as a plague to curser society.
Fushiguro campion
In flower language, the fushiguro campion means "turning point".
Megumi was a turning point in Itadori's life, with their encounter introducing him to curses.
Tsumiki was a turning point in Megumi's life, with her condition introducing him to curses.
Touji was a turning point in Gojou and Getou's lives, turning Gojou into the strongest curser and Getou into the terrorist who hated monkeys.
And the unnamed Fushiguro who gave her name to Touji in marriage was the turning point he needed to fully abandon the Zen'in.
Wild rose
In flower language, the wild rose means "unpretentious love" and "recovery from a grave wound".
Unpretentious love refers to how Kugisaki very openly loves her friends, and how her love for people completely disregards social decorum, as her backstory is about her relationship with a person deemed an outcast, whose negative social status never made Kugisaki stop caring for her.
Recovery from a grave wound refers to how Kugisaki absolutely survived having her face blasted by Mahito on the Shibuya Incident. I believe it. She'll come back with the coolest eyepatch.
Also, bonus points to her for having actual rose marks during her fight against Itadori's brothers.
Panda banyan
Panda banyans don't have a flower language meaning because they're a very recent banyan mutation, but I guess being a mutation is already enough of a connection to the mutated cursed corpse that is Panda.
The meaning for Chinese banyans in general is "health" because Chinese banyans are plants that can grow on asphalt or concrete like it's nothing, but judging by how Panda is a panda, I really don't think Akutami was thinking about the plant when he named him.
Hollyhock
The hollyhock doesn't have a proper flower language meaning because it's actually an umbrella term for many different species. The ones that fit Toudou the best (at least according to Dar because I'm not going through 650 species myself) are the sunset hibiscus and the Guiana chestnut.
The sunset hibiscus means "I believe in you", "systematic love", and "losing weight because of romance".
"I believe in you" ties very neatly to his sudden relationship with his newfound BROTHER, with his fake backstory, and with the imaginary Takada strategizing with him in his head.
"Systematic love" can refer to the whole idol industry Takada is a part of, both in the sense of how their relationship is engineered by a market, and she has to express her love for the fans as a scripted part of the job, while Toudou can only express his love for her by systematically standing in line on a meet-and-greet.
"Losing weight because of romance" is a bit harder to tie in, but demanding on how much money Toudou has, he could be eating less to save more money for Takada merch and show tickets.
And Guiana chestnuts mean "victory", fitting with how Toudou is the fucking strong.
Peach
This one is kinda tough because Nishimiya really doesn't have enough characterization yet, but peaches mean "charming", "good nature", "I'm a slave to your love", and "unrivaled".
"I'm a slave to your love" might tie in with how all of her character moments so far have been about Mai rather than about herself.
"Unrivaled" also could tie with her worldview of how female cursers are demanded to be perfect in every way.
Yoshino cherry
Yoshino cherries mean "untainted" and "talented and beautiful woman".
"Untainted" refers to Junpei, as after all he's been through, he was still pure and innocent enough to fall for Mahito's nonsense, and even after falling down the deep end, still refused to believe curses came from people with hearts.
And "Talented and beautiful woman" refers to Nagi, a single mother who cared a lot for Junpei and never lost her good humor.
Japanese pasque flower
Japanese pasque flowers mean "romance, curse, and revenge". Romance ties with how she greets new people by asking them about their fetishes, and curse and revenge could be foreshadowing to her either becoming a villain later on or having VERY personal beef with Kenjaku.
Plum
First I need to clarify that Uraume's name means "inverse plum", but there are no species with that name. We're talking about the meaning of plums here, maybe inverting the meanings for a better fit, and looking at the inverted plum as a crest.
Plums mean "sophisticated", "noble", "persevering", and "loyal". All this emphasizes the idea of her being Sukuna's loyal subordinate for 1000 years, but inverting the plum, implies betrayal. Uraume currently presented herself as both on Sukuna's side and on Kenjaku's side, so she's bound to betray one for the other eventually, presumably Kenjaku for Sukuna.
But much more importantly, Sugawara no Michizane was a notorious lover of plums, so much so that he made the symbol of the inverted plum flower into his family crest.
We know that the Jujutsu version of Michizane's bloodline formed the Gojou family, so a possible take on this is that Uraume betrayed the Gojou family in the Heian era to join Sukuna's side.
