i think if youre willing to make a callout post about someone then you NEED to own the fact that you're opening them up to harrasment. none of this "well we told people not to go after them, its not our fault people saw our callout and start making death threats, we didn't endorse that!!" like okay yeah you may not have asked for it, but you have to know it's a risk. ESPECIALLY with people in demographics that are prone to witch hunts (ie. trans women especially.)

you need to look at the information you're collecting and consider what's really relevant, what's fair, and whether there are alternatives before you push the nuclear button. and if you still think it's the best option and you want to go ahead? then like, fair enough, that's your decision, i can't stop you. but at least stick to your guns and don't act surprised if you ruin someone's life. i don't think that kind of thing should ever be a decision taken lightly yknow.
