these are the monthly mini - events for the month of august. other than the musical festival (which shouldn't be written just yet), all of those events are not mandatory and are simply inspirations for you to write your threads around the month. enjoy !

august 1st: colorado day doubles as the annual dam ducky derby, in which dozens of rubber ducks will be dumped into the creek, lending to a rubber duck race. each duck is bought by a sum in money, all of which will be diverted to a charity. the winning duck will also receive a prize!

august 7th / august 21st: the bi weekly encounter of outdoor yoga will happen on the square of evergreen. there will be several classes throughout the day, but come early with your mats or you might miss it entirely!

august 8th: an outdoor art festival will take the streets of wildflower way. the community is encouraged to submit their own pieces, but submission ends on the 1st of august.

every saturday and sunday: the farmer's market opens up their stands to the public. are you looking to buy fresh produce, flowers or interact with your neighbors? that's the spot to be!

august 15th: morning birds & brew invites our more nature-forward residents to a morning tour of bird watching and coffee drinking in between the boardwalk and the park.

august 22nd / 23rd: tangled vine and old mill ales offer special tours of their breweries, partnered up with food institutions around town like local bites, the sweet spot and the velvet brews on two days of food and drink exploration. finish the nights at the neon rainbow for special drinks made specially for the occasion.

august 29th - 31st: a musical festival to end the summer will occur these days. more information will come as we get closer to the date.
