The Place I Wanted to Visit
They say home is where the heart is. The thing is, in order to understand where is your heart, you have let it travel.
The first place where I would let my heart discover is San Fransisco in California. I want to walk at the Golden Gate Bridge at night and admire the city lights from afar. This will bring me closer to the Pacific Ocean, which is one of my dreams. Being in California, I would go to LosAngeles and take a look at the famous Hollywood sign and of course, I won’t miss the opportunity to remind myself of the sweet childhood dreams by visiting Disneyland. The next destination would be New york. I would like to start my destination the Statue of Liberty because its history and rather interesting. Then, I would go to Times Square and at a break at the Hard Rock Cafe which is the most popular chain in the US. After sipping a cup of freshly brewed coffee from Starbucks, I would continue my trip to London.
My heart skips every time I talk about London. I want to see a Big Ben, the Buckingham’s Palace, the London Bridge and see the entire city from the top of the London Eye. My trip ends at Moldova. I would like to visit Orheiul Vechi during the ethnomusic festival. For now, I’m just waiting for the right time to go and travel alone. Maybe after my finals.

My Favourite Pastime
Pastime is simply a hobby or interest we have towards a certain activity we adore doing during our free time. It could as simple as baking, or playing a game of chess, or even going for a hike at hills or even mountains if you like to take it up a notch.
Well, my favourite would be relating with sports and water. Yes, you’ve guessed it right, it’s swimming. Swimming started in the 1st century and has been part in the Olympics since 1896.
I chose swimming because it has been my favourite thing to do since I was a toddler. When I was young, my parents would bring me to the public pool during weekends. They thought me how to swim. And the first swimming style I learnt from them was the breaststroke. Later in that same year, they signed me up for swimming lessons which was pretty fun but also very tiring indeed as it uses up most of my energy. After a few session of classes, I began to learn new swimming styles such as the backstroke, freestyle, and the famous a wowing butterfly stroke. I learnt the simple technics and the small details which improved my skills of becoming a good swimmer. The trainer was very nice and very particular too. He showed me every movement and corrects my actions if I was wrong.
Besides the great childhood memories I had with swimming, I specifically picked swimming as my favourite pastime activity because of the benefits I get. Talking as a person who suffered being obese before, I chose swimming as it is considered as one of the major cardio activity which burns a whole lot more calories than doing other activities on ground such as walking or biking. It also helps to strengthen the heart and lungs, reduces stress and it works out all of the body’s major muscles, making it the ultimate activity to go for when you want to lose weight.
Other than that, this activity could too be appreciated by the elders because it has low impact to the joints, meaning, it could protect the joints from being strained. And because it is low impact, this activity could be enjoyed for a period of a lifetime.
To sum up everything, I think people should start taking up swimming lessons or go to swimming pools once in a while because of the boundless amount of benefits you get by just moving vigorously in it. Other than that, this activity could create a whole new generation of human beings with a healthy body and a fresh mindset.
Daniel Craig, everyone.

The movie I could not forget
There’s always one movie that each and every one of us has that we can never forget. You get a tight feeling in your stomach and it either makes you happy or sad when you watch it the first time. It may also come from making memories with your favorite people.
Mine’s called the Dream House. It was released in 2011. Dream house is an American psychological thriller movie. The movie is based in the United States and it got about 6/10 out of 42, 396 votes.
I personally found this movie exciting because this movie was the first mind boggling movie I have ever watched. Movies are mainly predictable. This was basically the first movie that I could not predict. I love movies that I cannot foresee. The day I watched it was 2 days after the movie was released in Malaysia. I watched it with my best friend at the Golden Screen Cinema at The Curve.
The movie was about a man, Will Atenton who quits a well-paid job to move with his wife, Libby and his two beautiful daughters. They moved to a town in New England. As they were settling down in their new home, Will finally figures out that the wife and two kids that were living there before were murdered and the husband went missing. He decided to investigate the crime as the house was being watched by a mysterious man.
There are a few other movies that I couldn’t forget but this is the best one.
