okay so arranged in april are probably one of my favourite bands of all time but I just love this song so so so so so much, i hold it very dear to me. The very first lines about blades resembling issues that have woven themselves into their identity and lines like "Would it be worse if I stayed?" resonates with me so deeply since I often think about how different my life would've been if certain things didn't happen - not really specifically about anything, but like the little things that didn't feel like it would matter, if I had done something different, how would the butterfly effect affect me? The lyrics are honestly really poetic and are pretty emotional, which is something I love about Arranged In April, which is honestly expected, since it's a spoken word poetry.
