reading reviews and tags of backrooms (2026) makes me so fucking angry omfg. did the message go over everyone’s head????? cycles of abuse????? the immorality of the psychiatric and medical systems???? the horrors of being a woman in patriarchal society???? the horrors of being an abuse victim trying to navigate the world?????? the consequences of trying to ‘fix people’, especially men as a woman, and especially abusers as a survivor????? how trying to fix the abusive system you live under using the tools of that same system doesn’t work??????? how destructive enabling abusive behaviour, even as part of healing to ‘fix’ an abuser, can be????? is anyone listening or do you only care about the random white man!???!?!!!?????
This might be a hot take, but I thought what they did for the "monster" of the Backrooms was ABSOLUTELY GENIUS! How it organically builds upon how the Backrooms work, how it connects to the real world and its people (specifically Clark), and how it creates something that is dangerous and terrifying, and yet at the same time, frighteningly human!
Let me ask you something. Do you think it's interesting that out of all the "people" that were in the Backrooms, Clark's was the only one that was actually dangerous and was actually going around killing people? That's because the Backrooms remembers things in the real world, and "the more times it remembers, the less it does" until it only remembers the details that stand out the most, like how, when you remember a childhood bedroom, you only remember specific furniture or decorations. And the same goes for people!
Because Clark's life is dominated by his anxieties, frustration, fears, and, most importantly, his desire to lash out at everything he thinks is to blame, the Backrooms only remembered those negative feelings. And eventually they all culminated into this dangerous entity. Just like how he lashed out and attacked others that he believes are the fault of where he is, this entity of his own (unintentional) making lashes out and attacks everyone in sight, because, as you can see by the expression on its face, it too is driven by those same anxieties and fears!
That's what makes this my favourite Backrooms entity! Because it's not just another murderous fiend that kills for the heck of it. It's something that beautifully and brilliantly connects to the world it's a part of, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, and helps make Clark one of the best horror movie "villains" in recent memory!

Purity culture is part of compulsory sexuality; it’s a method of control. It’s not encouraging (nor forcing) ace behavior, it’s controlling when and how you’re allowed to have sex (and, ultimately, reproduce).
Reminder: sex positivity is a MOVEMENT that means people deserve to be EDUCATED, and DESTIGMATIZED for whatever sex they have (I can’t believe I have to extra clarify that sex means consensual).
Sex negativity is against that. It has a similar view as purity culture to sex and sex education. It is NOT personally not wanting to have sex or engage in sex/sexual topics!

i know folks are gonna call me a pedo for this one, but i grew up seeing my mom and grandma naked. they had health issues and at times needed care and help showering. and i truly think more kids need to be shown the nonsexual reality of naked women at a young age. there is nothing sexual about my grandmothers breasts, they were simply body parts. more women die of heart attacks because people are too afraid of breasts to do real chest compressions, because they are scared to touch their breasts. the sexualization of our bodies literally kills us. i need people to be more normal about naked bodies and i'm 100% serious.
I think people tend to forget Terminators are technically asexual, and then write or illustrate about them in perverted or provactive ways which kind of rub me the wrong way personally. Auroradiation has been known on Twitter and Tumblr for their art. but not many people are aware as they have posted mostly what seems to appear as normal stuff (until a little while when they started being openly bad on Tumblr), but for years they’ve drawn many depictions of cp, incest, rape, fanfictions, recreations in porn games and even figures/BJD dolls (such is the point of their obsession with fetishizing sexual violence) with those themes about multiple characters, including ones who are played by not only real people, real adults, but also a REAL CHILD. This legally counts as CSEM.
Besides that, they have said many disturbing and concerning things about the characters, but also straight up the actors and even Real people online. The child actor of one of the characters was also groomed in real life not too long after being in the film.
This has bothered several people of different ages and nationalities (it might sound random to say this but it’ll be explained later, she has some xenophobic tendencies as well) in the Terminator fandom (which includes a huge portion of teenagers/minors within said fandom) for a while.
They’ve been actively doing this since 2020, and some online users have tried to stop them from spreading their content but weren't heard enough, did not have substantial evidence, etc. We do have plenty of evidence now. They were called out in 2020 here on tumblr because of their bad behavior in the Frankenstein / classical literature fandom. In 2023, they were called out because of her Terminator-related NSFW based on a real child + mass reported on twitter, taking their account down, then returned to the platform in 2024.

As the movie is Live Action, she uses the likeness of the actors, real people, in her inapropiate work, including the real child actor, Edward Furlong. This by itself is already disrespectful and disgusting, but it gets worse considering other factors. A bit after T2 came out, Furlong was actually groomed by Jaqueline Domac, a woman in her late 20s, while Furlong was in his early teens. Surely Auroradiation is aware of this, like most fans of Terminator, she has already been into it for a while so it is virtually impossible for her to be unaware. Most people act empathetic about it and rightfully see it as terrible, but she doesn’t have any respect whatsoever over the case, and interestingly, even made jokes about John, Furlong’s 10 year old character, being a groomer himself.
Apart from drawing him in pedo stuff with the “regular” T-800, she has also drawn him in such scenarios with a “genderbend” version of him, which is a paler, younger (possibly late 20s while the T-800 canonically has the appearance of a tan skin man in his early 40s) woman with bangs and a very different build compared to the one “regular” T-800.
This T-800 version of her does not look like Arnold anymore, but it is possible she is somewhat based on Edward’s groomer, I’ve seen multiple people who agree with this. Of course, she is also based on Auroradiation’s other perv tastes that do not fit the canon at all. Overall, she is disgusting and insensitive with SA.
She has been creepy about Arnold Schwarzenegger as well, even in contexts outside of Terminator. Often projecting her pedo, feminization and pregnancy fetish stuff into him. She even told her “lolicon”/pedophile followers to watch one of his documentaries (about Bodybuilding) because of scenes in it with Real children including a little girl who is daughter of one of the bodybuilders who appear in it, spending time with her dad and brother and comparing arm muscles innocently, but she projects her disgusting "lolicon" pedo stuff into it.
She has tagged and quoted posts of Edward and Arnold friendly interacting behind the scenes as her pedo ship as well.
Apart from this, she has been gross and creepy towards real people online as well, including minors, borderline sexual harassment way. Including: making unwanted sexual comments on a person's sfw comic, saying her haters (which I'm pretty sure she knows include minors) are in love with her or want to have "intimacy", saying she'll kiss them and give them an STD, etc. She got mad one time as well on twitter when she saw someone critizing the making of safe spaces for preds in the art community (as a twt artist got caught being weird under pictures of Real kids on fb) and she called such critique "idiocy".
She even once defended using the pictures of a real dead child victim as drawing reference. I don't think I have to explain how disrespectful this is, along with all the other things she's done which make this worse.
There has been multiple instances where she also shows colorism, racism and xenophobia, saying/acting as if people who don't like her are just "american" (which I can confirm first hand it's not true, multiple people from very different backgrounds and countries really don't like her) She got a hate ask in chinese and instantly assumed it was an anglo without any proof. There was also an anon that rightfully called her out for pedophilia, colorism and featurism in art, she dod not deny anything and called them “racist” in return. It is deeply ironic considering the fanbases she is in are of western media and loves sexualizing white american people, even cops and stuff.
She does tend to make some characters unnecessarily pale. She also has said she will only draw NSFW of POC if they pay her extra to. Other times where she does choose to draw POC for one or another reason, she vaguely whitewashes their skin colors and tones down their ethnic features. She has basically has admitted herself that she is featurist.
She has also claimed to be 67, and that sees everyone below 60 as babies. This wouldn't be bad if she was a normal person or artist online, of course, but is terrible combined with the fact that she infantilizes for the sake of sexualization, is rude towards younger people or calls them children/babies as insult, and makes NSFW of a 10 y/o with the likeness of a real child.
Another thing she posted on her old innapropiate account is when she would babysit her little cousin, which is kind of alarming considering it’s her account full of followers into pedophilia and incest. I don't have to mention how she had already previously recommended to her followers a documentary with a real toddler. As we know by now that Aurora writes fanfic, she has been shown to use ChatGPT and Deepseek, both of which are generative AI programs, to translate it. Generative AI is very harmful to the environment, and her not using normal translation applications that do not support generative AI shows her lack of care for the environment by utilizing said programs, all for her incest fanfiction to be translated. The fact that she used AI for simply translating, as opposed to using an actual normal translator, is a sign that she might use it in her daily life. It’s possible that she is okay with the use of AI “art” as well.
