Like im sorry but they do not look very strong and realistically, what were they even going to do against someone as strong as Sandbag? Plus, Vega's smart. She must've known that if Eddie died, then all three of them (them, Sailor and Sandbag) would be able to get out alive.

Also reminder that everyone in this cast is a CRIMINAL. And it's a DEATH GAME of course she's gonna prioritize her life over Eddie's, who they didn't really know at all.
