Yeonjun’s Return

“I know Seze… I know.” Yeonjun soothed his soul sister, watching the way that the ikran was getting excited at seeing the home tree once more. Leaning his body, feeling the way Seze banked. Large wings beating, the ikran taking off higher in the air to fly around the home tree.

(“There’s my child!”) His fathered cheered as he watched the familiar ikran finally flying back in the familiar territory. Others in the clan whooped in excitement to her arrival, Yeonjun crouching up to raising a hand in victory. The clan meeting went well and it was good news.

Spotting the familiar creature, Seze chirped excitedly and Yeonjun looked down. Seeing the hyperactive creature at his return, Seze diving down and wings outstretching above Shiban. The ikran landed and Yeonjun slid off of his soul sister so the ikran could play with her friend.

“Miss me Chan?”

Chan gets almost pushed off Shiban as he comes to an halt as excited was he to see his friends being back. Though Chan catches himself smoothly. Crossing his arms in front of his chest as he stands.

"It was ... quiet." Is all he says, eyes trailing to Shiban for a moment. The creature the complete opposite to his rider in shown excitement. Though there is a wink of a smile on Chan’s lips as he meets Yeonjun's eyes again. "I heard the clan meeting went on easier than expected?"

Yeonjun smiled, hand cupping the excited Shiban and letting out a cooing clicking sound before petting his head. Glancing back to look at Chan, noticing the ghost of a smile and Yeonjun smiling more himself.

“Yes, it did. I wish it didn’t take so long though…” He sighed, shaking his head and looking at him. Hand touching his arms and shoulder, walking around him. “It looks like you adjusted well to the clan, who taught you?”

Shiban squeals at the touch, shortly getting dissapointed as Yeonjun turns away, but his attention quickly shifts to Seze, barking while wiggling his backside, taunting her to play.

"Sometimes the wind doesn't carry one as fast as it should," Chan quotes, chuckling lightly, while he holds still. Arms falling loosely to his sides. Following the other's figure with his gaze. "The one that also uttered alongside this quote the word skxwang continuesly, while chasing me through the jungle." Chan huffs, before he adds, "Tsu'tey trained me well, I leave him that. Thought I knew hard training, but I clearly didn't."

Home. It's been a while since I've been back here but it's nice to see travel out of the city and just... be alone in the quiet. Everyone will be arriving soon so it won't be quiet for too long but it's always nice to have everyone home and around even if it is for a small period of time before we head back into the city and live our lives.

A little bit about this place, this is the first home that we built when we settled here. It's definitely a place that everyone feels safe in because it is in the middle of our territory but we decided that its not where we would be anchored to. Nomadic by nature, this is where we come and spend special occasions and this one - one of the human mates in the tribe is pregnant, our firstborn.
