It’s odd. Hearing Zarbon’s voice congratulating him stirs him out of a fleeting thought—

he’s supposed to be happy about this, isn’t he? But he wasn’t. Instead, it was like the feeling- whatever it was- within him, only became worse. Emptier still. 

“I feel some much-needed rest is in order, personally. The whole matter has become rather exhausting. Help yourself to some wine, though, if you’d like. It’s as good a time as any.” 

Frieza’s tail curls into a spiral and he listlessly rests his hand against his sore cheek. 

“Kill anyone who still proclaims loyalty to Cooler in these next few days. He’s dead. They’re un-salvageable, and will only cause problems for us moving forward..” 

       Zarbon took notice to the bruise on the tyrant’s face, yet doesn’t voice his concerns. That was one line he wasn’t ready to cross. Until then he’d walk on eggshells around Frieza’s injury.

       “As you wish. I will leave none alive. It’s what those fools deserve for pledging their allegiance to him instead of you.” With a swift bow, the commander spoke up once more. 

       Hesitating as he finds the correct words to say. “--Is there anything else I can do for you, sir? We can postpone celebrations once you’re feeling up to par for it.”

    I see the Frieza Force is barely managing to hold itself together… As usual.

      Unfortunately there’s a matter of disagreement with my new co-commander. I’d prefer it go back to the way it was.
