i was supposed to be on vacation up north with my in-laws this week but bc of work emergencies my fiance had had i am at home. i have been wfh but in a resentful and inefficient way - i know how spoiled it is to be like i have to go float in lake michigan right NOW but i really feel like i am slowly becoming evil every cumulative day that i just like continue to experience mundane stressors. i feel like i need a meaningful BREAK from the environment & it is NOT COMING

we got a not guilty on a prison offense for a homeless man today, in 10 minutes of deliberation after 5 days of jury trial :)

power has been down for a lot of my region since Friday, after a like 30 min wind storm blew basically every transformer. a teenager whose parents were away has been found dead because he ran a generator inside the house. obviously there are a couple of other factors but DTE is just a completely inexcusable company

and an 8 year old and 12 year old in another house, and a low income senior tower out of power for days.
