The video for the Basement Jaxx track "Never Say Never" is six-minute mockumentary about a twerking robot called TW3RK-BOT 1.0. In the Saman Kesh-directed video, watch as a team of scientists create the robot, which twerks its rubbery buttcheeks in order to teach future civilizations how to dance.
If you stick with this video until the end, you'll see more than just thrusting robot legs and misted rubber buttocks. Watch as the robot brings two scientists closer together, and at the very end, glimpse into an apocalyptic world where twerking butts wander the empty streets.
"Never Say Never" features ETML. It'll appear on Junto, which is out August 25 via Atlantic Jaxx/PIAS.
The true beauty of creative collaboration.
Dust & Grooves did an awesome interview with the crazy cat-mad scientist William Bensussen aka The Gaslamp Killer and diged around in his record collection and home studio.
A collaboration between London based musician/composer Alfa Mist and singer Emmavie. Visit http://ae-music.co.uk for the free download of the FULL Epoch EP.
