So… what does one do around here besides going to the beach, drinking tons of coffee, playing videogames and attending classes? There’s only so much time I can spend working on my tan, feeling the sand between my toes (and getting it in places you don’t want to feel it) and keeping my violin tuned and sand-free… Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Have you thought of going to an art class? That could be fun!Â

I can’t promise to actually watch it, but I’ll happily bring something and join in on the festivities. I’ve never actually seen a superbowl, and American football eludes me.Â

He got the last laugh, I took it as a sign to go home and not indulge in more ice cream.Â

... Yes, I’m going to lift my child up and offer her to the gull gods. No, I’d most likely get her a small cone, and a much larger cone and hold it up just so that the gulls don’t go to hers.Â

RIGHT out of my bloody hand, it’s the most upsetting thing that’s happened to me in a long time. I need to make sure when I take Maddie next time to have a decoy waiting.Â
I went for a walk tonight along the pier and treated myself to some ice cream... I got distracted by the lights shining on the water, and a sea gull took the ice cream cone right out of my hand. I’m both mad at the bird and at myself for letting it happen.Â
