Graphite, sloth skull.
Some very very late gold fish for my best friends Birthday.
Here's some digital art that I’m probably never going to finish.
Finishing an art piece is something I've always struggled with and these last few months I really haven’t finished a lot. I think it’s because I’m continuously not happy with my work. It’s not that I can’t see how much I've improved over the last two years, it’s because I’m still not at the level of artistic ability I feel like I should be at. In all honesty I don’t even know where that level is or if it’s even in sight. What’s frustrated is school forced me to finish things, even if I didn't like them I would have to turn them in, but when I have control over my own projects I end up crumbling without the structure. Nothing ever feels finished; nothing ever feels like it’s going to be finished.
In order to be a better artist I really need to move past this. My goal the next few months is going to be to finish as many pieces that I can no matter if I like them or not.
*The first drawing is of this Deer Prince cosplay
I did the Witchsona thing.
Panted quick magpie skull.
A watercolor of the skulls of a small dog and rat I painted about a month ago.
The Brain Scoop is my favorite show on YouTube and Emily is pretty much my hero.
Go watch it now!
I did some Welcome to Night Vale fan art!
Sooooo I was in an art show this weekend and here are the paintings I put in it, and an up close of one almost finished and a photo of some of them matted and on the wall at the show. so yeah that happened. It was cool.
Day 3, I'm doing some digital work. Here is a big sister from bioshock two.
Day two, I was having issues with the new red paint I got. I also am trying to keep these paintings under a half hour so, they may not all me great. Anyways still life of a broken animal skull, I have no idea what it is.
I'm going to try to do one quick still life a day until the end of year. Something sweet and simple without much thought put into it. Anyway here is day one I guess.
Videos by Zefrank always manage to make me feel a little less alone.
I'm working on Graphite drawing of a ... uh dog skull? maybe? I'm not sure my step-dad found it. I'm going to probably do a water color as well
Experimenting with ink, sketch of a mostly decomposed bird. Sometimes when you accidentally drip ink all over your illustration you just have to go with it.
