Today

Today someone I heavily dislike caught me on a break. We'd worked together last year. She was the most patronising person I've ever had the displeasure of working with. I did a mental gulp as she sparked up conversation, but she'd caught me on a bad day and when she asked how work was going I blurted out how shit I felt about it. I hadn't really divulged to anyone how much pressure I'm actually under at the moment and borderline broke down.She noticed my face start to sink, hugged me in the most awkward way imaginable and offered to buy me a coffee.

The point being, breaking down at the mere confession of my troubles may be a sign to make some drastic changes.

Now may be the first time in my life I should quit something to save my sanity and change my future...

(Maybe I'll be able to stick around after all, doing what I love)
