Do you happen to have any information on a “craft witch” or something that has to do on working with your hands? I have been looking around for a type of practice that involves crocheting 🧶 yarn ect, ❤️😊
Hopefully these will give you a good starting point. The tags I used to find these are listed below!

•Make your own bread/baking/food (especially things that can only be found plastic wrapped)
•Make your laundry detergent and dish soap, or buy eco friendly ones
•Buy in bulk with your own containers
•Use glass and metal containers to store things in, as opposed to plastic
•~*C O M P O S T*~
•Buy local and trade with neighbours to keep business small and purposeful
•Reuse, repair, and repurpose old stuff
•Spend more time outside and less time wasting electricity
•Permaculture gardens!!!
•Go thrifting and antiquing before buying new
•Buy cute lil totes (especially from local artists) and stop using plastic bags
•Be mindful of what you’re consuming. Food and fashion wise, and otherwise. Take note of what you truly want or need.
•Hang your clothes on a line to dry
•Learn to hem and mend your own clothing
•Educate yourself on water conservation (especially in gardens)

Tips for beginner witches
Where to start? This is the most common question i receive. I understand how overwhelming the craft can be! There are so many different components, and you can rest knowing your education will NEVER be complete. You will continue to learn new things all the time, and there is no rush to the order in which you learn! Cool down, and take some time to really fall into theory before jumping into practice. Its very important to read as much as you can, from as many sources as possible. Here are some of the many things you can research:
Crystals & their uses
Color correspondences
Different kinds of Magic
Different kinds of witches
Tools
Moon Phases
Planets/Celestial Bodies
Witch History
Herbs & their uses
Plants that are naturally abundant in your area that you can use in magick
Energy
Meditation and Visualisation
Astral Projection
Deities
Tarot cards and other forms of divination
Symbols (runes, sigils)
Theban alphabet
Incense and Oils
Animals and what they represent
Sabbats
Cleansing, charging and consecration of tools
making mundane things magical
There are so many more things, so feel free to add in anything I missed or that you personally find important.
Witchlings, please ask me any questions you may have as i am happy to answer to the best of my knowledge. I will be putting up more educational posts over the next few weeks, so please ask or message me if theres anything specific you’d like me to cover. I’ll more than likely have a post for each of the bullet points above.
Blessed be!

🍄 Basics: if your into goblincore and like collecting random things, but are also a witch. This is something that you will love. Charm casting! Charm casting is the act of tossing random charms/objects into a dish or tray of some sort. Each object has it’s own meaning that you give it. You can have a HUGE collection of random things to use for charm casting. This is a fortune telling way and works very well if your using tarot cards with it. However you don’t have to use tarot cards with it if you don’t want to.
🍄 Collecting: When it comes to collecting charms, you have a huge variety. Some people will buy actual charms you use to make jewelry with and keep it simple. Some will go out and about and collect random nick nacks they find in the street. It’s up to you. However upon doing so, make sure you keep in mind… What meaning does this have?
I have teeth, a piece of corn and other things in my supply. I also have a lot of rings. However each ring has a different meaning. One that has an eye means to me that someone or something is watching you or keeping an eye on you.
🍄 How to cast: Just like any other divination practice, you must ask a question. However, it’s best to place the charms into a bowl so you can easily swish your hand around and feel for the charms. Upon doing so, you then grab a hand full and throw it into a tray (or whatever your using). You’ll notice that they will scatter out, and some will stay in the middle. Many read it differently, some will read the middle and slowly work to the outside of where the charms are. And some will just focus on the middle. Sometimes when you do cast, some little odds and ends that are unnessessary will make it’s way through the reading. If it doesn’t fit in with the rest of the reading then it’s not needed. You do not need to add it to the reading.

My Charm Collection | Use what you want, when you want
Cleansing tools other than Sage
Kili’s Promise
~A charm to remind someone of your love and strengthen love’s bond~
What you will need
A smooth river stone that fits in your hand
Thread, any color (i prefer red, white or pink)
A fine tip permanent marker (a color that will show up on the stone, silver if the stone is dark, black if the stone is light)
A few rose petals
Red candle
An incense that you associate with love (I used lavender)
What to do
1. Prepare yourself for the spellwork, however is necessary. Meditate, cleanse, ground, center etc.
2. Prepare your work space. Arrange your tools, candles, incense, herbs or other materials you use for your spell working.
3. Light the candle and incense, let the energy from them build for a minute before beginning.
4. Lay out two pieces of the string, as in the image below and say “Though far away, my love may be, Let her/him/them feel its warmth, like the light from the sun, touches the moon” and tie the two strings together at the center.
5. With the marker, write your names, a symbol or a short message on the stone, and say: “And now in ink our love is bound, never lost to one another, we are always found.”
6. Place the stone atop the strings, at the center and say, “From now on, forevermore, may our love, wield the strength of stone”
7. Place the rose petal(s) atop the writing, and say: “Let our love grow, as the does the rose, with thorns to protect it, and petals to bloom.”
8. Tie the strings around the bundle, making a bow with all four ends, and say “Let love continue to blossom between me and you.”
9.Clean up, and give the charm to your partner.
**Carry the charm with you, have your partner do the same, as a reminder of your bond. And if your partner is willing to partake in the creation of the charm with you, make two of them, one for each of you!**
BONUS
-I added the first crappy hand forged ring I made for my wife when we started dating to the one I gave her. It’s gotten a bit rusty over time, and I’ve replaced the rose petals a few times, but here’s the picture of it-
Good luck and happy casting witches!

living in the countryside really strikes the fear of god into you at the most random moments. you’ll just make eye contact with a cow or stare for too long into a brook and all of a sudden you’ll think something like “these are old bones and i am merely a passing occupant” and then you have to go and put the kettle on to cope
