Hi Jasper! I hope you're doing well, dunno if you remember me lol
I was wondering if you had perhaps any recommendations on books about angels / working with angels, or otherwise spirit/entity work?
I found a book a friend had given me and then realized most of the author's references were Doreen Virtue so uh... not touching that lol
Thanks in advance! (Even if you don't have anything lol)
Heyyy, it's been a while! Glad to see you're still hanging around on Tumblr, Aster!
Unfortunately, angel work is still not my forte. Most of the resources I have and would recommend are more servitor/thoughtform focused at this point. If that's an angle you want to explore, I recommend Condensed Chaos by Phil Hine (a basic primer on chaos magic) and Magickal Servitors by Damon Brand (my review notes here).
The Gallery of Magick series by Damon Brand, Zanna Blaise, and Gordon Winterfield have several entries about angels, but I haven't personally ready those books - only the servitors one. One of these days, I intend to read every book in this series.
Sorry I couldn't help more!
~Jasper
Absolutely forgot I had sent this ask, thank you so much! I am infact interested in servitors/thoughtforms as well, so I'll take a look at those! Thank you!
It was just waiting to happen

Shadow Work is a psychological and spiritual practice that involves exploring the unconscious or hidden parts of oneself, often referred to as the “shadow.” This concept, popularized by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, refers to the aspects of our personality that we reject, deny, or are unaware of. These can include repressed emotions, desires, and impulses that we consider unacceptable or undesirable.
Spirit/Entity Work and Spirit/Entity Worship are two different things. Spirit/Entity work involves working with spirits/entities that assist the practitioner in their metaphysical and mundane lives. It's forming a relationship between yourself and the spirit/entity as a partnership to ask for their assistance in exchange for offerings or work to be done on behalf of the spirit/entities.
It's not always guaranteed that the spirit/entity you petition for help in whatever it is you need help with will actually agree to help you and that's okay one, respect their wishes and two, there are other spirits/entities you can reach out to for help with your situation. On the other hand the same goes if a spirit/entity reaches out to you for whatever reason, you're not obligated to work with them (whether at this time or at all) if you don't want to.
Spirit/Entity worship is when you devote yourself or an aspect of your life, practice etc. to a spirit/entity. It's you honouring said spirit/entity by living your life according to the values of said spirit/entity and the culture they originate from and by adopting their morals, values etc. and living your life in a way that not only shows respect and honour to the spirit/entity but the culture they originate from as well.
While the interactions between the spirit/entity and the devotee isn't as much or as frequent as it would've been between a spirit/entity and their practitioner. Sometimes the spirit/entity will visit their devotee from time to time and sometimes spirits/entities do decide to bless their devotees in some way if they think that their devotees deserve it. Now this isn't something to work towards, neither should it really be an aim. Just be authentic in your devotion and good things might happen.
You don't have to be a witch/call yourself a witch to work or worship spirits/entities, neither does working or worshiping spirits/entities make you a witch. However, you can incorporate working or worshiping spirits/entities into your witchcraft if that's what you'd like, but remember you don't have to be a witch to practice either paths and neither does practising either paths make you a witch.
Before starting with spirit/entity work or worship decide which you like more spirit/entity work or spirit/entity worship? Which practice resonates with you more? For the rest of this post I will be talking in terms of spirit/entity work, because I'm a spirit/entity worker and have much more experience in spirit/entity work than I do spirit/entity worship.
Before delving into spirit/entity work decide which facets of spirit/entity work you'd like to focus on. There's general spirit/entity work (or eclectic spirit/entity work) where you work with a mix of different types of spirits and entities like deites, angels, the good neighbours, pop culture entities, demons etc. You could also look at specific facets of spirit/entity work like deity work (where you mainly work with deities) , ancestor work (where you mainly work with your ancestors) , demon/infernal work (where you mainly work with demons and other infernal spirit/entities (like underworld gods)), fae work (where you mainly work with the fae and other fae-like spirits and entities) and so on.
No facet of spirit/entity work is any less or more important or any less or more hard work than the other. They all have different ways of being handled and each facet has different rules and regulations than the other facets (some facets' rule collide in some cases). You don't have to decide immediately on which facet you'd like to focus on. Do your research, test the waters and than decide which facets you'd like to focus on.
Do a bit more research on the facet of spirit/entity work you'd like to focus on and also make sure you're in a comfortable place with the basics of protection, warding etc, the basics of energy work (or at least energy sensing), the basics of vetting (and when I say vetting I'm not talking about vetting them to figure out if they're some imposter spirit (but if imposter spirits are apart of your practice than sure you can do the vetting with this in mind) , I mean vetting in the way of getting to know the spirit/entity more), make sure you have a reliable method of divination yet (and if possible have someone you can trust and that's reliable who can confirm or deny your findings) and make sure you at least have some basics understanding of what boundaries are and the dos and don'ts of boundaries.
Say for instance you've decided you'd like to do deity work. If you've felt drawn to a specific (open and welcoming) pantheon like the Greek pantheon or the Celtic pantheon than do more research on the pantheon of your choosing, research the culture, the practices, the dos and don'ts of the culture and of course do research on the deity(s) you'd like to work with. Once you feel like you're in a comfortable place with the knowledge you have send out an invitation to the deity and hope they bite and reach out to you.
Remember even if they reach out it's not guaranteed that they'll actually work with you. They might just be reaching out to check out whoever it was that invited them. If they don't reach out, leave it at that, don't try and force the situation and just move on. There are plenty more deities in the universe who would be much more suited for you and your needs and interested in working with you.
You don't have to have had worshipped or honoured the deity before reaching out to work with them to start working with the deity, but if that's something you'd like to do than that's completely okay and you can do that if you'd like. You can also decide to do spirit/entity worship before you delve into spirit/entity work if you'd first like to get comfortable with the whole practice and if you're still trying to figure out what it is you'd like from this practice and no.
Remember you actually have to be willing to do the work if you do decide to delve into spirit/entity work (I think there are certain spirits/entities who do send their devotees tests and such, so you definitely also have to be willing to do the work when it comes to spirit/entity worship too). You can't just decide to reach out to a spirit/entity (whether they're a deity, angel, demon etc), if you're not willing or wanting to put in the necessary work.
There are a lot of spirits/entities that do not take kindly to their time being wasted for no reason and if this happens multiple times remember that the spirits and entities love to gossip and your name will definitely be shared if you think disrespecting them in such a way (not doing your work even after asking or agreeing to work with them and not keeping your end if the deal of whatever agreement you and the spirit/entity made before you started your working relationship together) will slide.
Contrary to what it might seem like according to social media (especially tiktok) spirit/entity work (especially deity work) is not that hard or overcomplicated. The only way it'll be hard is if you fight the spirit/entity on everything and don't want to do the work or face the tests. Having boundaries is good, but acting like a child and not wanting to do what you're told (as long as it's logical and it's in your ability to complete) is not going to make the working relationship any easier and it might end up making the spirit/entity leave because what's the point of them being there if you don't want to do the work?
When it comes to offerings and interactions it will depend on you and the spirit/entity itself, meaning while getting outside help is okay you cannot and shouldn't depend on outsiders when it comes to the relationship you have/want to build with the spirit/entity. Yes, you can find general resources and such on what a spirit/entity would like as an offering and you can ask other (reliable) practitioners on what kind of offerings a specific spirit/entity might like if you're just starting out.
However, it's also important to build your own relationship with the spirit/entity and figure out what works and what doesn't on your own (with the help of the spirit/entity of course) because one, what an offering a spirit/entity might like from one practitioner might be an offering the spirit/entity doesn't like or want to get from you and vice versa and two, like I mentioned while getting outside help is okay you cannot and shouldn't depend on outsiders for every single thing when it comes to your relationships and your practice in general.
With interactions, the basic idea is to be as respectful as you can be and make sure to address the spirit/entity by their proper formal title (if they have formal titles) like King, Queen, Marquis/Marquess, Duke, Prince etc and definitely don't call them lord or lady if they do have a formal title because even if you think it's respectful to some extent "lord/lady" hold little to no importance compared to most of spirits/entities' formal titles.
If you're not certain how to address a spirit/entity ask them. If ask them if you can address them by their formal title or if there is another way you can address them. Always ask the spirit/entity yourself what they'd prefer you call them by, while it's fine to ask for extra confirmation from a RELIABLE source, don't depend on others, especially not ones who insinuate it's okay to disrespect a spirit/entity's title (i.e. reffering to a Grand Marquis with something as insignificant as "Lord") when it comes things like these.
This is my own personal gnosis gathered through my own personal experience as well as research I've done. If you don't resonate with the below than that's okay, what's not cool is disrespecting me just because my experiences are different than yours
I want to get a new pendulum and I would much rather buy it in person than online but I cannot seem to find a store in my city ;;
We'll uncover the enchanting world of bells in witchcraft in today's topic. Bells are utilized for cleansing, protection, summoning spirits, and enhancing rituals. Let's look into their rich history, deep symbolism, and practical applications in magic. Warning, this is a bit of a long post, be prepared to read :)
What are Witch(es) Bells?
Magical bells are small, often ornate instruments used in witchcraft to produce sound vibrations that carry specific intentions. These bells can be made of various materials such as brass, bronze, or silver, and they often feature intricate designs and symbols. The clear, resonant tones of bells are believed to carry powerful vibrations that can cleanse, protect, and communicate with the spiritual realm.
Historical and Symbolic Significance
Historical Roots:
The use of bells in spiritual and religious practices dates back thousands of years. They have been used in ceremonies across many cultures, including ancient Greece, Rome, China, and India, to invoke deities, ward off evil spirits, and mark sacred time.
By the Middle Ages, bells were commonly used in churches and monasteries throughout Asia and Europe. They were believed to scare away evil spirits with their loud sounds.
In modern witchcraft, bells are often used as tools for spiritual protection and purification. They may be rung at the start of a ritual to clear the space of negative energies or to signal the end of a ritual. Bells are also used to call forth the spirit of a deity or to invoke the elements.
Symbolism:
Sound and Vibration: Bells symbolize the power of sound and vibration, which can influence energy fields, cleanse spaces, and elevate spiritual awareness. The word "bell" translates to mean "to roar" or "to make a loud noise" (think bellow)
Divine Masculine and Feminine Energy: The significance of male and female anatomy in the use of bells in witchcraft is rooted in symbolism. The bell’s body is often seen as representing the anatomy of a female, while the clapper represents the anatomy of a male. This symbolism extends to the idea of the bell’s body representing the womb and the clapper representing a child within. This union of male and female elements is believed to create a powerful protective amulet. The combination of these elements symbolizes the unity between yin and yang, male and female, and the Divine Masculine and Feminine. This balance and harmony are considered essential in many magical practices and rituals. This unity creates powerful and protective energies.
Communication:
Bells are often seen as tools for communication with the divine, spirits, and otherworldly beings. Their sound is believed to transcend physical boundaries and reach the spiritual realm.
Protection:
The ringing of bells is thought to drive away negative energies and entities, creating a protective barrier around the practitioner and their space.
Choosing and Consecrating Your Bell
Choosing Your Bell:
Select a bell that resonates with you both visually and audibly. The tone should be pleasing to your ear and evoke a sense of peace or power. Consider the material and craftsmanship, as these can influence the bell’s energy and effectiveness. Many bells are made with iron, brass, bronze, aluminum, or "bell metal", which is ~75% copper and ~25% tin to help make a sturdy, long-lasting bell that also produces a resonant sound.
Consecrating Your Bell:
Cleansing: Cleanse your bell to remove any unwanted energies. This can be done by passing it through incense smoke, sprinkling it with salt water, or placing it under moonlight. If you choose to use saltwater, be sure to dry it thoroughly as the type of metal of your bell could tarnish if the water remains on it over time. Be mindful! :) Charging: Hold your bell and focus on your intentions. Visualize it being filled with your energy and purpose. Blessing: Recite a blessing or incantation. For example, "I consecrate this bell to serve as a tool of cleansing, protection, and communication in my magical workings." This is just an example of a way to perform a blessing or consecration of this item for your practice. You are welcome to adjust this to your practice. It is best to make clear your intentions for the use of the objects in your magickal toolbox such as these bells.
Practical Uses of Bells in Witchcraft
Cleansing and Purification:
Ring your bell to cleanse and purify your space. The sound vibrations can dispel negative energies and create a harmonious environment. Walk through your space, ringing the bell, and visualize the sound waves sweeping away stagnant energy.
Protection:
Use your bell to create a protective barrier around your home or sacred space. Ring it at the entrances and corners while setting the intention of protection and safety.
Ritual Enhancement:
Incorporate the bell into your rituals to mark the beginning and end, or to signify transitions between different stages. The sound can help to focus your mind and elevate the ritual atmosphere.
Summoning and Invocation:
Bells can be used to summon spirits, deities, or elemental energies. Ring your bell to call upon the entities you wish to work with, inviting them into your space with respect and reverence.
Meditation and Focus:
Ring your bell before meditation to clear your mind and set the tone for a focused, serene session. The sound can help to shift your consciousness and deepen your meditative state.
Cord and Knot Magic:
Use the bell in cord and knot magic to charge your cords or knots with sound vibrations. Ring the bell as you tie each knot, infusing it with your intention and the bell’s energy.
Caring for Your Bell
Regular Cleansing:
Regularly cleanse your bell to maintain its energy. Use the same methods as when you first consecrated it.
Storage:
Store your bell in a safe, sacred place, such as on your altar or in a special box. Treat it with respect as a powerful tool in your practice.
Respect:
Your bell is a sacred tool. Avoid using it for mundane purposes or allowing others to handle it without permission.
Bells are magical tools that harness the power of sound and vibration to cleanse, protect, and communicate. By incorporating bells into your practice, you can elevate your rituals, create sacred spaces, and connect with the spiritual realm. Use them with intention and respect, and their enchanting tones will guide and support you on your magical journey.

Share your experiences and tips with using bells in the comments. Let's continue to learn and grow together! 💜
At this point I've come to accept that my practice comes and goes as it pleases and honestly, that's fine! Just because I take breaks I'm not less of a witch.
That being said, I do want to be more connected to my craft, so I want to renovate my portable altar so I can carry it around. Here is what it looked like before. My practice is kept in secret because my parents are very religious, so this, alongside my traveler's notebook grimoire, are what carry pretty much my entire practice (and some pdfs on my iPad lol).
Mostly I'm looking for ideas, how do you practice withcraft on the go? What are the little things you can do anywhere?
I already know I want to change the pearl necklace for a pendulum (unfortunately the necklace and I couldn't bond very well for that type of work), and I'll probably change the colored beads for other small crystals because I never did use the colored beads for anything (tho if you get any ideas for the colored beads, I'd be more than happy to keep them in).
So yeah! Please tell me some ideas, or maybe even share your travel altars with me!
Numerology 101
Numerology is the study of the symbolism and significance of numbers, and how they relate to our lives. It is based on the idea that everything in the universe has a vibration, including numbers. By understanding the energy of numbers, we can gain insight into ourselves and the world around us.
In numerology, each number has its own unique energy and meaning. For example, the number 1 is associated with independence, leadership, and innovation. The number 2 is associated with balance, harmony, and diplomacy. The number 3 is associated with creativity, self-expression, and communication.
Through the study of numerology, we can gain insight into our personality traits, life path, and destiny. By understanding the energy of the numbers associated with our name and birthdate, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our purpose in life.
Numerology can also be used to gain insight into relationships, career choices, and major life decisions. By understanding the energy of the numbers associated with these areas of our lives, we can make more informed choices and find greater fulfillment.
Here's a brief explanation of each concept in numerology:
Life Path Number: The life path number is a core number in numerology that is calculated based on a person's birthdate. It represents the path or journey a person will take in life and is considered the most important number in a person's numerology chart.
To calculate the life path number, you need to add up the digits in a person's birthdate (month, day, and year) and reduce it to a single digit or a master number (11, 22, or 33). For example, if someone was born on September 25, 1985, the calculation would be: 9 (September) + 2 + 5 (day) + 1 + 9 + 8 + 5 (year) = 39, and 3 + 9 = 12. Since 12 is not a master number, we reduce it to a single digit: 1 + 2 = 3. Therefore, the life path number for this person is 3.
Expression Number: The expression number is also known as the destiny number and is calculated based on a person's full name. It represents a person's natural abilities, talents, and potential in life.
To calculate the expression number or destiny number, you need to assign a numerical value to each letter in a person's full name (including middle and last names) and add them up. Then, reduce the number to a single digit or a master number (11, 22, 33, or 44). For example, if someone's name is John Smith, the calculation would be: J (1) + O (6) + H (8) + N (5) + S (1) + M (4) + I (9) + T (2) + H (8) = 44. Since 44 is a master number, we don't reduce it further. Therefore, the expression number or destiny number for this person is 44.
Soul Urge Number: The soul urge number is calculated based on the vowels in a person's full name and represents their innermost desires and motivations in life.
To calculate the soul urge number, you need to assign a numerical value to the vowels in a person's name (excluding the letter "y") and add them up. Then, reduce the number to a single digit or a master number. For example, using the name John Smith again, the calculation would be: O (6) + I (9) = 15, and 1 + 5 = 6. Therefore, the soul urge number for this person is 6.
Personal Year Number: The personal year number is calculated based on a person's birthdate and the current year. It represents the energy and opportunities that will be present in a person's life during a specific year.
To calculate the personal year number, you need to add the digits in a person's birthdate (month and day) to the digits in the current year. Then, reduce the number to a single digit or a master number (11, 22, or 33). For example, if someone was born on July 7th and it's currently the year 2023, the calculation would be: 7 (July) + 7 (day) + 2 + 0 + 2 + 3 (year) = 19, and 1 + 9 = 10. Since 10 is not a master number, we reduce it to a single digit: 1 + 0 = 1. Therefore, the personal year number for this person in 2023 is 1.
Stay tune for more numerology posts.

What it is
Astragalomancy is a fancy name to dices divination, but have a reason for that. Having its first records from Egypt 1400 BC (other data say it is 3500 BC), the data used by the Egyptians, Romans and Greeks were usually made of sheep, horses or goat vertebrae, marked or not on each of their faces. The term "astragalomancy" derives from the term "astragaios" which means something like "joint bone". But in the end, is just another method of Cleromancy, which is divination by randomness when throwing an object.
Why I use
Magic is sentiment and not reason, as a magician, witch, fortune teller, you need to study a lot to be good in your practice, but when you are in your divination, what you command is your feeling. What's coming from your chest, stomach, or foot should be stronger than what's in your head. And the presence of my dices in my life is like a dream to me.
One of the dreams that my brother and I always had was to play table RPG, we always did this kind of imaginary game, arms turned into weapons and shields, but the apex of this game would be to finally make a table RPG. But you couldn't even buy the dices...
So finally after 20 years between being able to collect people to play together and having the money to buy at least one dice game, we were able to make our first game. Now due to the pandemic I can't play live anymore, but my dices carries all the dream and desire I had and still have for that moment. My dice carry more than just the euphoria of the game and so when I saw them standing still, I had to give them a purpose. After all, the magic was already on the table.
Divination - How I do that
I'm honest, I still testing everything, some of the dices I like more (like the D20, they're the ones that I'm more emotionally connected) but I will show to you all the types that I use.
•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*´¨`*••*´
D4 - Yes or No Questions
In the simple way:
Even numbers: Yes
Odd numbers: No
In my way (that likes to difficult everything):
Have two dice of different colors, one you will give more strength for positive responses while the other will have this power for negative ones (do this with colors, warm colors are positive and cold colors are negatives).
Two 4 - Absolutely yes
Two 1 - Absolutely no
1 and 3 - No
2 and 4 - Yes
1 and 2/ 3 and 4 - Maybe
Don't forget to use your intuition, guts or whatever you think that connects you. Sometimes the positive one will look more powerful, so the maybe can transform into a "yes, if you work".

wHY DOES THIS HAVE JUST 308 NOTES???? THE ENTIRE WORLD SHOULD BE SHARING THIS. CHINA IS LITERALLY COMMITTING THE HOLOCAUST, ONLY THIS TIME ON MUSLIMS AND Y’ALL ARE SILENT?
i have 495 people following me right now, including several mutuals. i better see y’all reblogging.
People might not be reblogging this because the first tweet makes unnecessary (and untrue) Holocaust comparisons. Taken from @nat_slay on Twitter (I don’t know the original source):
The “ways to help” info seems good afaik but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong there too.
As a Jewish person, I appreciate those saying that this is not okay and that it is misinformation. No, 6 million Uyghur Muslims have not been murdered.
And, as a Jewish person, I know that 6 million very well could be murdered. This is not another Shoah, but it very well could become another. As a Jewish person, I feel we must say “never again.”
Never again.
“Never again” does not mean “this event was so uniquely horrible, it could never happen again.” It means “this event was horrible, but not unique. We have to make sure it never happens again.”
Never again.
The Uyghur death count isn’t 6 million, that is misinformation. But “never again” means we have to make sure it doesn’t become 6 million.
If you are not Jewish or Romani, do not draw comparisons to the Holocaust. All that provides is shock value and misinformation. What you can do is support Uyghur Muslims.

MANIFESTATION TIP: use your creative strengths to manifest! this is a big one - if you’re musically talented, compose a song about what you want to manıfest, if you’re good at drawing or painting, paint about it, if you like literature or writing, then write a short story or poem about it!
This is a successful method because it allows you to charge your creation with intent and energy as you work on your project which will work like a charm! GOOD LUCK
Hi!, I just saw your page, I have aphantasia and I have been trying to develop my “Clair senses”.. and practice witchcraft, but I’ve been really discouraged because there is no directions for anyone who can’t imagine a “white light” or a “circle of protection”... I just saw on your page I could as a question....
I wanted to know how do you ground or imagine a white light of protection for spells?
Oh wow. First of all, I’m really, really sorry I didn’t saw this before. I haven’t opened my tumblr in a while and even though I have motifs on I didn’t get one,,,
The best thing you can do first is figure out how energy feels to you. For example, energy to me feels like vibration on my skin. The way I figured this out was by closing my eyes and just focusing on a part of my body, until I could fill the energy building up there in the form of tingling. This happens because I’m a very tactile person since almost all my other senses are a bit effed up, so it might be different for you. You just have to focus on pushing your energy out and learning to know how it feels, how you sense it.
Once you do, you can start working with it. So for grounding, I literally focus my energy on my feet and feel it connect me to the ground. For protection, I focus the energy in my hands and then rub myself with it like if I was rubbing some ointment until I’m all covered and buzzing. You have to understand and accept that energy works different for you, and as such, you need to use different methods. And the most important part is that you’re allowed to use the methods that work best for you!
i did my research and donated. this is the easiest way to donate to the lebanese red cross.
the Lebanese red cross is a charity that many Lebanese citizens endorse and are asking for others to donate to. As of right now (11:30 EST on the fifth), it’s the most up-to-date info I can find. If you don’t know what’s up, Beirut suffered a chemical explosion the size of a small nuke (which is still fucking huge.) They have a host of other serious and deadly crises (humanitarian/political/social) going on right now, too, and the explosion destroyed their main port, where a lot of their trade and necessary supplies (such as medical supplies) come in. Please, if you can, help Lebanon recover from this blow and tackle the rest of their problems. They need help.
And a periodic reminder that each country’s Red Cross is an independent organisation, they are audited as an individual unit, they manage their finances themselves. Which means that if you have reason to be suspicious of a particular country’s Red Cross (I understand the American Red Cross had some problems with a corrupt official or something a few years ago), please don’t let that influence your judgment of the Red Cross of another country.
The Red Cross is not a monolith, each country has their own Red Cross or Red Crescent, and while they collaborate globally as a coalition, they are each their own thing.
C h a r m 🍄 c a s t i n g
🍄 Basics: if your into goblincore and like collecting random things, but are also a witch. This is something that you will love. Charm casting! Charm casting is the act of tossing random charms/objects into a dish or tray of some sort. Each object has it’s own meaning that you give it. You can have a HUGE collection of random things to use for charm casting. This is a fortune telling way and works very well if your using tarot cards with it. However you don’t have to use tarot cards with it if you don’t want to.
🍄 Collecting: When it comes to collecting charms, you have a huge variety. Some people will buy actual charms you use to make jewelry with and keep it simple. Some will go out and about and collect random nick nacks they find in the street. It’s up to you. However upon doing so, make sure you keep in mind… What meaning does this have?
I have teeth, a piece of corn and other things in my supply. I also have a lot of rings. However each ring has a different meaning. One that has an eye means to me that someone or something is watching you or keeping an eye on you.
🍄 How to cast: Just like any other divination practice, you must ask a question. However, it’s best to place the charms into a bowl so you can easily swish your hand around and feel for the charms. Upon doing so, you then grab a hand full and throw it into a tray (or whatever your using). You’ll notice that they will scatter out, and some will stay in the middle. Many read it differently, some will read the middle and slowly work to the outside of where the charms are. And some will just focus on the middle. Sometimes when you do cast, some little odds and ends that are unnessessary will make it’s way through the reading. If it doesn’t fit in with the rest of the reading then it’s not needed. You do not need to add it to the reading.

The Clair Senses
The Clair Senses are intuitive senses that mimic physical senses in some cases. You use whatever clair senses you have to perceive energy. Most everyone has some kind of clair sense inherently, but if you don’t it’s no cause for worry. It is completely possible to gain access to a Clair Sense you don’t already possess.
The first one we will talk about is claircognizance. This is the intuitive ability to just know something without any real explanation. Two psychic abilities fall under this category: precognition, which is the ability to know the future, and retrocognition, which is the ability to know the past. This ability sometimes occurs in tandem with another ability, such as clairvoyance. This means just “knowing” something by seeing it happen in your mind’s eye. Another example of two Clairs working together is hearing the phone ring before it actually does and just knowing who will be calling. Deja vu is also a sign of claircognizance.
Clairvoyance is the ability to intuitively see something. People who have clairvoyance perceive energy by seeing it. Sometimes they can see auras, although if you’re new to the ability it is likely you cannot yet see auras. They can also see spirits and other entities. A strong imagination is a sign of early or potential clairvoyant abilities.
Next up is clairaudience. This is the ability to intuitively hear something. People with this ability can hear spirits speak, and often, energy also has a sound to them. Have you ever “heard” something that wasn’t actually there? Such as a voice calling your name or a “meow” when there are no cats to be found (this could also mean you have a ghost cat, which is actually more common than you’d think). o.O
Clairsentience. This is the ability to intuitively feel something. People with clairsentience can feel the vibrations of energy. It can feel tingly or cold or warm, depending on the energy. It can also just have a sensation to you, such as butterflies in the stomach or pins and needles.
Clairalience, also known as clairscent or clairscentency, involves smelling a fragrance or odor of a substance, person, place, or animal not in one’s surroundings. People with clairalience can also perceive energy by smell; energy has a scent to them.
Then we have clairgustance. This is the ability to intuitively taste something. For example, if you thought about your favorite food, could you taste it on your tongue right now? People who have this can also perceive energy this way. Whenever they connect with energy, a sort of phantom taste fills their mouth. For example. My energy kinda tastes like berry wine to me. I’ve also had others tell me it tastes like fruit. This ability is VERY specific and is usually only used to determine energy signatures tbh. ID-ing whose/what kind of energy you’re sensing.
Clairtangency, also called psychometry, is the ability to intuitively know something by touch. I have this very strongly. You can touch an object and know things about it, or a person, or an animal. People who have this ability can also know things by “touching” energy, which is partly how I can perform energy reads from so far away. I’ve just extended physical touch to energetic touch. Although, the feeling is intensified if I am actually touching the thing I am trying to read.
Similarly, clairtact is the ability to “touch” something or someone without actually touching it. People with this ability can also make contact with spirits. Your (physical) hand will still go right through them, but you can feel them and, in return, they can feel you.
Lastly, we have claireloquence. This is the ability to communicate clearly. The right words in any given situation just seem to “come to you”. You can also understand the meaning behind someone else’s words and interpret them for others.
Do you have any of these senses? it might be helpful to make a list of the ones you think you might possess or the ones you want to possess, and pay attention to how you sense energy while you’re working with it.
Card Exercise to Enhance Psychic Skills
Hey everyone! So what I am sharing with you today is a card exercise that can be used to improve a variety of different skills. Telepathy for spirit communication, intuition, & more! I will explain how with a few different ones later, but feel free to get creative! Best thing about this, is it really only requires a deck of cards, and something to record your answers. The great thing about this exercise is that you can scale the difficulty of it as well!
Items Needed:
Deck of Playing Cards
Notebook or paper and a pen (to record your answers)
What You Need To Do - Basic Steps
First off, shuffle your deck. Now with your deck shuffled, pull one card from the top, place it face down (no peeking!). Now this is where you can include a spirit companion if you are working on telepathy with them! Keep in mind you can also use this practice to strengthen your other clair-senses as well! Have your companion sit with you and tell you if the card you chose is red or black. Don’t worry about any other thing on the card, just red or black.
If you are trying to strengthen a intuition or anything else, try to feel if the card is red or black instead of telling a companion to tell you.
Tips: Trust your first instinct. You may just feel stronger one way or the other, get a flash of color in your head, or however you may sense it or your companion may hint it to you. Go with your gut!
Make sure to record your answers! With just doing just red & black, you have a 50% chance per card of getting it right, so when you are getting 70-80% right consistently, progress so its a little harder!
Ways To Progress The Exercise
Alright so time to make it a bit harder: progress as follows:
Colors Only (Black/Red)
Suits Only (Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades)
Colors & Suits
Face/Pip Cards Only (Ace, 2, 3, 4, King, etc)
Face/Pip & Colors
Face/Pip & Suits
Exact Cards
Safe time to progress is when you are hitting 60-80% accuracy for the first few. Progress as you feel comfortable on the last few! Good luck!
I was taught this exercise several years ago, so credit goes to whoever really thought of it (I can’t remember who taught it to me!). But I really hope you enjoy this and it helps you!
