His idiot brother senses are tingling.
Well, that was good to know, and the Quincy’s posture eased considerably. It had been decades since they last spoke, and despite the time, he’d be lying if he said he didn’t feel a certain pull towards the other quincy.
“I’ve gotten stronger,” he mentions and he’s sure the other can feel it, the increase in his power, “Perhaps you could stay and get stronger as well.”
It had been years since his...Disappearance. Everyone else told him to give up, to get over it. As far as they were concerned, Sven was dead. But not to Claus. He knew he was alive, he had faith in his older brother. Perhaps a little too much faith at times.
“Yeah...I can tell. So have I, though.” He wrinkles his nose as he smiled, before glancing back to where he came from. “I...”
“I was not sure if you would follow me. Besides, I never planned to leave. It just sort of…happened. I just walked off. There were no machinations, behind it, Clause.”
Sven shrugged, watchul as his old brother came closer,
“You come to take me back?”
“I would’ve had to think about it but...It...Beats what this place has in store for me.”
He stopped advancing, hands stuffed into his pockets as he glanced down just a bit...To his brother. Brows furrow further, a look of sorrow on his face.
“No...I’m not. I just...Sensed you, came to investigate...I’m not going to take you back there.”
“You know...I expected you’d do something drastic...Something foolish. But THIS.” He lets out a heavy sigh, furrowing his brow. He takes a step forward towards Sven.
“Why didn’t you tell me what you were going to do? What you were planning?”
He drops his hands to his sides, sighing heavily. “You just...Went AWOL and took off, without a word.”
“...”

“AT LEAST ASK BEFORE YOU TAKE SOMETHING!”
weichherzig:
“I don’t have patience. Like… at all.”
“Yeah, I know. I’ll have to teach you some patience.”
weichherzig:
“Yeah… but karma’s taking too damn long… captain.”
“Patience is a virtue that will get you very far, Tobias.”
weichherzig:
“Can’t just… let him get away with that shit.”
“Remember what I told you earlier? About karma?"
weichherzig replied to your post: Please don’t say anything that’ll piss him off.
THAT GUY’S BEING AN ASSHOLE
“Believe me, I know.”
Please don’t say anything that’ll piss him off.
infectiouseuphoria:
“Um… I know we don’t know each other very well…” She hesitated. Something about talking too much seemed like a bad idea, but she couldn’t exactly grasp why. Claus had been nothing but nice. Just because so many times in the past things had gone south didn’t mean he would be the same, right?
“A-And honestly, you’re still a little intimidating, but… I thought maybe we could… um, talk? Or… something.”
Her request was accepted with a brief nod. “Sure we can. Ah, just give me a moment to get comfortable.” With that, he slid completely to the ground, legs tucked upwards so his hands could rest on his knees.
“And uh, sorry I’m still intimidating. I don’t really try to be.”
infectiouseuphoria:
With the realization that she may never see Valentin again, Senta had spent the past few hours exhausting herself and her emotions– until she realized she didn’t need to. She had never used her talents to dull emotional pain, but with her extensive collection of chemicals, it was only a matter of time before she discovered which ones could ease the loss a little. They also had the fortunate side effect of subduing her various, overwhelming fears, as well.
“Oh… thank you.” She finally tilted her head upwards toward him; she couldn’t hide the fact that she’d been crying, but her smile was genuine. “I’m… not sure why I’m here.”
“Not a problem.” He noticed her face. Her eyes were still puffy and it gave him a bad feeling in his stomach. He hated seeing people upset in general, that feeling doubled when it was someone apart of his life.
“Well. Ya can always swing by if anything, just so you know.”
infectiouseuphoria:
She wouldn’t look up at him, even when she heard the door open and felt his eyes on her. Even when he called her name. Arms wrapped around her knees, pulled to her chest, she continued to stare ahead to the floor beyond her feet.
“…I’m sorry. Am I disturbing you?”
Slowly, the Jagdarmee captain crouched down, after shutting the door behind him. He was rather curious as to why she came to his door, of all people. But he figured it best not to question her.
“No, not at all. You’re never a bother.”
infectiouseuphoria:
She wasn’t sure why she had found his door to seat herself beside, but she had. Even if he never exited his room, something about believing that he was just on the other side made her a little calmer.
Once his hair was dry enough, the towel was draped over a chair. Sighing a bit, he ran his hand through the dark tresses before heading out. The moment he opened his door, he saw her--well he felt her presence first.
“--...Senta?”
Rubs at his hair with a towel, exhaling heavily. “Nothin’ like a good shower...”
