It's been a little over a week since Instagram has banned hashtags such as #curvy #curvygirls #bbw #thickgirls. For those that don't know you can't search these as of 7/16. A lot of women and men use this to relate, uplift, celebrate, search and share this particular body type for; clothing hauls, stores, beauty, health, or your fave #curvy YouTube blogger. As I understand Insta is trying to suppress on Porn companies and Bot Sites, but this is too much. I am so confused by this form of enforcement that @Instagram is so concerned with silencing this hashtag versus #thinspo #proana #skinny or#fat #iloveana. Is this some type of body shaming? I'm all about positive body image. Can I celebrate my body type without it being associated with other negative attributes.
