I watched the Absolute Zero series about a month or two ago, and I hold it near and dear to my heart. At the point in my life, I was in a life slump. I needed something that wasn't my usual lovey dovey two protagonists meet story(which I absolutely eat up on a non-depressive episode).

I needed something with enough plot, but also not too much going on. Because yes, as an avid romantasy reader, there is such a thing as too much plot.

I was going through my tbw list and saw the name. I added it to my list immediately it was announced by Studio Wabi Sabi last year. I remember thinking, "NuNew sang an ost for this series, how bad can it be" (y'all know I love my NuNew).

Needless to say, it was exactly what I needed and it did it's thing.

If you can get past episode 1 that establishes the characters and storyline, you will enjoy it. Now, left to me, I'll rate it a 10/10, but that might be biased because, like I said, it came at the right moment in my life. The thought that I'd be getting home to continue the series helped me through some pretty tough days, ngl. So, there is some form of emotional attachment.

So, in an attempt to be unbiased, I give it a 8/10, great watch👍.

Peopleeeeeeee, so I caved and I started watching TharnType yesterday I'm currently on ep 6 and girlllll, I get it. I finally understand the hype okay.

I finally understand the MewGulf hype. Like I see why waanjais ain't letting go cause wtf.

The chemistry, the tension, like so far I've only gotten kiss shots but it was so perfect that my brain did the rest, ya know. My imagination filled in the gaps, bitch I see why y'all are hooked.

I'm like damn now I wanna be a waanjai too but it ain't possible no more 🥲.

But I know two things for sure, one I can smell the angst in the air for the show and I don't know if I'm ready cause I'm a sucker for fluff, two, TharnType just made it to the lists of films I would like to watch for the first time, multiple times.

I get it okay. I'm literally bouncing on my seat in excitement rn.

I keep seeing people amazed that others can watch something they don't fully enjoy, and I would like to offer you an introduction into this specific type of watching:

Be My Favorite

This show is going to be the perfect show to be conflicted over, and it doesn't even have a release date yet.

Why?

Fan favorite, Mike Chinnarat, was announced as a lead. It was a miracle. ✔

Then, it was announced that Krist Perawat would play the other lead. ❌

But we also had Aye Sarunchana who killed it in P.S. I Hate You, Title who has put in work, and Aou Thanaboon who has made many BL boys join cults. ✔

Oh, but JittiRain is the writer, and their previous work, Fish Upon the Sky, Theory of Love, 2gether, and Vice Versa have always caused ruckus. ❌

It was split at this point. Do we support Mike and crew or boycott Krist and wild writing? See the conflict? But we are lovers first, so most of us said, "support!"

Then, it was announced a lead was OUT! Could the issues be solved that simply by getting rid of Krist? Could this be a less conflicted watch? No! Because Mike was OUT! ❌

Are we still in though?! Are we staying in for Aye, Title, and Aou?! No. We're OUT!

Then, it was announced Fluke was taking over Mike's spot. Fluke, who has only been in side pairings is finally getting a lead . . . with Krist. ✔✔❌

Now, the rumor is this will air after A Boss and a Babe at the end of May. This show was announced in 2021 and has been a roller coaster of emotions without even having a proper poster.

Are we supporting Fluke? Are we out? Are we watching another JittRain show? Are we out? Are we supporting the crew? ARE WE OUT?!

We're in!

And you should be too. Embrace watching a show for the simple reason of being intrigued by the chaos. Do you like the chaos? Is it pleasing? DOESN'T MATTER!

Sometimes, you just have to see how the cookie bakes. Will it be delicious? Will it fall apart? Will the flavors mesh? You don't know if you don't watch.

Interest piqued.
