Titles are meaningless. How many people use a title as a way to cover up how little they actually know? 🔥 https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp2ZErCB0Q5pW6e1QjsOEXe0Kc9ymRxyOGic1E0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1bh227ucjtr2i

My brain works so good today
I think my brain is getting kinder to me. Its helping me get there! Six months to hit it all, Mark.
I’m very tired of traveling but very fulfilled. Starting from Sri Lanka to the best full moon parties in Koh Pangan, Koh Samui and Koh Lanta, to New Year’s Eve in Khao San Rd. Thailand, to old Khmer ruins of Cambodia, to 3 days slow boat experience in Laos, to the bliss of historical cities of Melacca, Georgetown and Butterworth, and finally here at the border of Malaysia and Thailand - Padang Besar. I’ve traveled by air, ferry, boat, bus and train; met a lot of new people, lost my cap and some clothes along the way but I’ve seen a side of myself I haven’t seen before. To those interested, I promise to share this experience in a separate medium soon. Creating a space for all my travel seems a little bit long overdue. Now, going to Singapore and then finally heading to a full year of work. I feel tired and worn out for good reasons with so much stories to tell. I’m smiling on all the things I said, thought of, and did; knowing I have a lot of good stories to playback whenever I get tired or need a good memory to look back on. Hunter H. Thompson said it best, “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow! What a Ride!’”—Hunter S. Thompson, The Proud Highway: Saga of a Desperate Southern Gentleman, 1955–1967” (at Padang Besar, Malaysia)

After spending a week in Thailand, 10/10 instances, local people have assumed I’m a Thai too. They’ve spent about two minutes speaking in the local language only for me to say that, “I don’t speak the language” or “I’m not a Thai”. And said, “You look like you are.” Thai are bunch of happy and smiling people, too. Here, I can pretend to be mute, stay and people won’t doubt I don’t belong. 😂 Let see tomorrow if they’ll think I’m a Cambodian, too. 🤣 (at ตลาดนัดจตุจักร Chatuchak Weekend Market jjweekendmarket)
