     The look on the other woman’s face said it all even before she dropped her gaze down. It sparked a fire that poor Autumn would never be able to live down as long as Faye was around. She couldn’t help but smile deviously, placing her hands on her wide hips before looking down at the shirt that plummeted a bit too deeply. 

          “Oh, you may not have meant for it come out that way but it certainly did and I’m beyond flattered,” she laughed lightly before dropping her hands and walking over to Autumn.

      Autumn wasn’t sure what reaction she was going to expect from Faye, but it most CERTAINLY was not that. If Faye had been at all offended by her rather BOLD comment, she did not show it. Instantly Autumn was overcome by a wave of REPRIEVE that washed over her, cleansing her of all disconcertion. ( And hopefully, it took away the blush that had somehow BLOSSOMED on her cheeks. ) With a rake of her fingers, Autumn pushed her hair back from her face and collected herself. Now with THAT ATROCITY out of the way, she could try again.

       She observed the other woman as she walked up to her, closing the space between them. Autumn pushed back from the cast iron patio fence, straightening her posture and turned to face Faye. And ONLY focus on her face, she seemed to tell herself. Stuffing her hands in her back pockets, she nodded in agreement, ❝ Oh ! Y-Yes, thank you! I ... am definitely in need of a drink tonight. ❞ Yes. A drink would be nice. Maybe she can ‘ forget ’ that comment she said. Even if she did mean it a bit sexually. She turned her body towards the bar invitingly, its counter stemming from deep inside the building to a little service area right outside.  ❝ Might have to make it a strong one. A DOUBLE of anything.

      Nothing could set a conversation aflame more than a POORLY EXECUTED comment. Normally when a comment was delivered in slightly bad taste, Autumn usually had something to blame: alcohol, work fatigue, AGITATION, lack of caffeine. Any of those would have been pathetic, but viable excuses. 

      Not this time. This time, it was all on herself. Her far too awake, sober, brash SELF. She bent her head and looked away in SHAME. She had only meant to compliment the woman’s top, not INTENTIONALLY make it somewhat sexual.

                              ❝ That . . . didn’t come out the way I meant it. ❞

Never hold your muse back. For real. If your muse wants to lash out at mine, or kiss mine, or tell mine a horrible secret, or slam mine against a wall — go for it. Don’t ever feel like I’ll get your reply and judge you or your muse. Your character has specific feelings, instincts, and desires, and if they want to do something, don’t hold them back. I want to roleplay with your muse in their entirety, the whole truth of your character, not a watered-down version. Never feel nervous — just let it happen as it happens, and it’ll all be great.
