I saw your poems on Nirvana in Fire edits years and years ago and they were what got me to watch the show in the first place and it's now my favorite show of all time and i finally found your blog!! Your poems have always settled heavy behind my ribs but in a good way and I keep a small running document of my favorites that make my brain itch and want to create and reread them when I need a nudge. Do you have any interest in ever self publishing a collection? Would love to have your words in my hands. And would you be open to people tattooing your poetry? Your lion boy is one I have thought about so many times. This is all kind of a ramble, I apologize if it's all disjointed.
Ahhhh thank you so much for the kind words, friend! It's so cool you finally found my blog after seeing so many edits. I've never seen that show myself, but I'm sure I have reblogged edits before (since I often do that when I find edits with my poetry).
To answer your questions, I've contemplated releasing a collection, but I've been out of the poetry sphere for a good while (life does that sometimes) and even before I always felt my poems lacked a through-thread and a collection would feel disjointed. This isn't meant to self-deprecate; it's just an honest truth. I'm glad my poems have settled somewhere deep within for you.
I am absolutely always open to someone tattooing my words - I only hope I would get to see an image of the finished product! It would be an incredibly high honor.
