History of an incomplete road along Fontana Lake in North Carolina
An interesting tidbit about Lakeview Drive in North Carolina. The road was supposed to run along the north side of Fontana Lake, but was never finished.
“In addition, the NPS was to build a replacement for NC 288 along the northern shore of the newly created lake.”
Spolier alert: They didn’t. The money was eventually given to the county instead.

This edition seems much less interesting.
Simulated the 2014 MLB season using Excel. I might tweak this a little (there is a small flaw I can think of related to very select situations, and I feel like overall scoring is a tad high.)
Used the actual 2014 schedule and simulated 2,430 regular season games. Baltimore and Tampa were tied for 2nd in their division at 92-70 and Tampa won to take the Wild Card. Washington and Pittsburgh were tied at 95-67 for the second NL Wild Card and Washington took that game. The Playoff series games are listed above.
Anyway, it has Washington beating Boston 4 games to 3 in the 2014 World Series. (I'm a Mets fan.)
First world problems. I mangled a check too badly to deposit via Phone. Too lazy to go to a PNC branch right now. Lol Indiana bank acct.
