Sofía has had a pretty interesting start this year. From schools being closed to massive flooding and a Cyclone to her first trial for the Senior’s Volleyball team and made it. My dogs are in Auckland, New Zealand!!! They made the long 15 hour journey. Pethaven Quarantine sent me the pictures. Hopefully, they will pass their health check-up and will get to pick them up on February 13. What a journey! My dogs have finally left Switzerland and have arrived at Dubai airport. They will spend the night there before they head out to Auckland, NZ. So far, they’re doing great. They said “no news is good news”. I can’t thank enough the people that looked out after our dogs! It has been over 40 hours since we left Switzerland, but we couldn’t get to New Zealand due to the torrential rains. Apparently, Auckland airport is flooded. So we’re stuck in Adelaide. But I have to say, the Australian Border Security and airport personnel were very kind and patient. Qatar Airways has provided accommodation and morning breakfast for us. Who knows when we fly out 🤷🏻‍♀️.
