HI!!! Guess who finished the Ren cosplay!! It has been so much fun to work on omg

I'll be wearing it to Denver Fan Expo tomorrow (May 31st) :D

(I'll have the scar makeup on my neck as well, I just forgot to put it on until it was too late 💔)

Ren cosplay progress!!!

Crown before veil:

Crown after veil (+ vision through veil):

Total time taken on crown: ~4 hours

Materials: Aluminum foil, air dry clay, tempera paint, and Twitch (I have been watching Bannerfall for about the past two and a half hours working on this and it's been such a vibe) (I forgot what the veil material was called :( )

I really wanted to lean into that rocky/rustic vibe for his crown since I imagine that that's what he used to make it!

Axe:

Time taken on axe: ~1 hour (most of which was waiting for paint to dry)

Materials: Spirit Halloween axe, tempera paint

I also have the pants, large cape (though it needs to be fixed because the latch broke), shirt, and Other Shirt™ (I dont remember what it's called but it's the cut red shirt underneath the cloaks and above the white shirt)! For the paws, because it would be really hard to pick things up with full-on paws, instead I'm using claw gloves I found at Spirit Halloween and attaching faux fur to them!

Helloooo, it's me again, the one cosplaying as your Ren design!! I just wanted to say, I am still working on it - I haven't forgotten! The first layer of red paint on the axe is actually drying right now :DDD

This has been so much frickin fun to work on. It's been so nice to have a project to work on that I can see slowly come together.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know it's still a work in progress! Hopefully it's gonna be ready by sometime next year (cosplays take sooooo long lol)

Your art!!! It's so eatable!!! I particularly adore your Grian (and your shippy stuff...I saw the poly ship of BigB/Grian/Scar/Ren and I fell to the floor and WEPT) it's all so soft and makes me feel warm and fuzzy!!!!!! I grab every design you have and squeeze like they're squeaky toys
