Tbh? i love Hc Michael having bpd like myself. I love Hc him having separation anxiety. I love writing him through some of my experiences and mental illnesses.

When i’m not horny for him (a rare occurrence) i’m always finding comfort in him. I’ve grown up with this character always comforting me. Even as a child i remember getting so excited to watch Halloween because it helped my stomach feel better (anxiety) and i always fell asleep to it or watched it over and over.

I’m less worried of what others think even though i still feel embarrassed when saying i love him more than the average person. It’s just so hard to explain to those who can’t understand why he is a safe character to me.

I used to have dreams when i was kid where michael would be protecting me from men who hurt me irl and ever since then i held onto him and it hurt so bad when i had to take a break from him for a few months. It hurt that he became triggering instead of comforting.

Now it’s back to the way it was and i couldn’t be any happier. I missed him and writing about him.

I'm sorry slasher fandom but no one can convince me Michael Myers is ripped under those coveralls. He spends most of his time in a psych institute being comatose (whether he's pretending or not he's still just sitting around) and chilling until he gets to do his silly little escape routines here and there.
