Can we talk… about Magnus being really good with Max… like building blanket forts with him and helping him with flashcards and showing him magic and Max jumping around trying to catch all the pretty lights
Concept: Magnus always carrying max around on his shoulders bc “I wanna be big just like Alec!” And so Magnus lifts him up whenever he wants and tells him that someday he will be just as tall as his older brother and max giggles and absolutely beams at the idea
Oh… oh no…
And what if Max made a lemonade stand with Izzy and the lemonade is Not The Best but Magnus keeps coming back for more because every time he does Max’s face lights up and he smiles brightly at him
Max having Bad Days™ where he’s just moody and no one wants to deal with him and he just wants Alec so Alec and Magnus will take him to stay with them for the night and they make a pillow fort in the living room and watch Disney movies and have popcorn fights (which always end up with max teaming up with Magnus to tackle Alec) and later those nights if max can’t sleep, Magnus with magic a starry sky above his bed and lay with him for a while just pointing out different constellations and telling him stories about them until max falls asleep on his chest
