Let me start by saying that yes, I was afraid the magic of Pentatonix would be shattered when I saw them live. I thought that they couldn’t possibly sound as extraordinary as they do online, but I was wrong. So, so, so wrong. Guys…they sound better. I was truly amazed at the sheer power of their voices and how magnificently kind they were. Kevin looked at me and kind of giggled during one number because I noticed him looking at our section and my hands covered my mouth in a shocked stance. I can’t possibly recommend seeing a band more than this one. When Mitch began singing the Daft Punk medley I was in tears. The harmonies and the blending and the intonation were outstanding, and the entire performance was absolute candy to the musician’s ears and soul. Even if I wasn’t obsessed with this group (I am, obviously), I would still be insanely impressed. I think a lot of people in the crowd were. No, I know a lot of people in the crowd were. So congratulations, Pentatonix, and thank you so much for making this a night I will never forget. Here’s to one of the many times I’ll be seeing you live!
