My talent: Mom blogging
One simple onomatopoeia. That’s all it took to get Meow Mix cat food into the popular imagination of people everywhere. It’s simple. It’s primal. And it’s what many of us sound like upon returning home from a long day in the urban jungle. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow.
Meow. It’s how we show love to those closest to us. We feed them. We care for them. We speak their language. Meow mix. A simple jingle in the language of love.
But that’s not all…
As this brand grew and developed, the catchy but simple song has been adopted into EDM culture, and has gone viral on social media. This jingle spreads itself.
Imagine a dark and foggy room, filled with thousands of young ravers, thirsty for a dope beat and a sweet chant. They are unified by the music. They are one.
“I want chicken, I want liver…”
The beat drops.
“Meow Mix, Meow Mix, please deliver…”
Meow Mix. Loved by ravers. Loved by cats. Probably, mostly likely, loved by cat ravers.
