He’s very fun—and I’m not just saying that—he’s very funny and quick-witted. But he’s also a super inquisitive person, so you have to know what you’re doing. You can’t bullshit your way through anything with Jesse, because he’s going to call you on it. He’s so analytical—he goes through everything with such a fine-toothed comb, and I’m the same way, I can’t turn my brain off. But it keeps you on your toes.
Kelly Reichardt, Dir of Night Moves on Jesse Eisenberg
It takes an alarming amount of skill to do it well and do it naturally. There aren’t many actors who are technically as good and also emotionally realistic at the same time. We asked Jesse and there was really no one else.

"Did she [Isla Fisher] play any pranks on you?" [x]
"If we do a sequel to this movie--which they want to do--we'll have a greater sense of camaraderie." (x)
Jesse implies that Mia Wasikowska is one of his favorite things about Toronto. (x)
With acting a lot of the time it’s people scrutinizing your face. With writing, they’re scrutinizing your thoughts – so both feel particularly invasive, to be honest. That’s why I don’t like watching things I’ve been in, because I don’t want to be aware of myself as some sort of specimen. I like the artistry of acting, but again it comes back to that commodification of actors and the way people are discussed and scrutinised. And I should say that for women it’s probably a million times worse than it is for men.
Jesse Eisenberg on acting vs. writing (x)
Woody Harrelson about Jesse Eisenberg (x)
Hey so I found your post from a while back, with gifs from the video "My Family Home with Jesse Eisenberg". I clicked on the link and it said that it was a private video. Is there any other way I would be able to see it? Thank you in advance!
You can watch it on Youtube here!
Did anyone's personality on set surprise you? (x)
Jesse is amazing. I just love that guy. He is so humble as well. I don’t even know if he watches any of the things he’s done. He is just genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever been around. It was inspiring to see just how much work he puts into the role.
Dave Franco on Jesse Eisenberg, The Star Online
Do you ever go to the theater and watch yourself on the big screen? (x)
So why do you think AMC Theater audiences are going to particularly have a great time with this movie? (x)
Wow, that is a very, very inside reference to my life; how did you know that? (x)
Jesse Eisenberg on "Off the Record," May 28 (x)
Now You See Me in theaters this Friday, and listen, here in Austin--you know, Jesse--it gets hot here, so the movies is where it will be this summer! Thanks Jesse, appreciate it. (x)
