general advice
if you made it down here: good job that was a lot of scrolling
do not procrastinate! time management skills are so key to doing well. start a bullet journal (my tag) (sareena’s masterpost), start a studyblr (sareena’s masterpost), and just learn how to schedule your time well (sareena’s masterpost)
get good sleep. i looove sleepyti.me because i always wake up so alert.
take notes. if you don’t think you need to, do it anyway.
and, most importantly, take care of yourself. you can’t do well (or anything) if you’re not drinking water, eating, and sleeping. put your needs first.
AP Study stuff!!!

So, since I am a senior this year #classof2017 (yay), I have a lot of rigorous courses to take– 4 AP classes. So, what that means to me at least is that I have a lot of notes to take from books. So, here is how a 4.0 student with a crap ton of AP classes takes notes from a textbook.
Materials:
-Textbook
-Notebook
-Stickie Notes
-Pens/highlighters
Step One: So what I do first (pic 2) is go through the chapter, and jot down quick bullet points that I need to hit when writing down my detailed notes. This is pretty simple. I do about 10 pages at a time.
Step two: Then, (pic 3) I go through the text again, and make outline-style notes of my post-its. Personally, I like to have blue as headings and pink as vocabulary.
Step three: Then, (pic 4) to help myself review and further clarify my notes, I go through and highlight the notes. Personally, I use yellow for very important details and pink for people.
Step 4: Finally, when I have quizzes, I re-read my notes and sometimes skim the passages and quiz myself with my notes.
I hope this helped! Let me know if you guys have any other requests!
