experimenting a bit with chibi styles (face shapes, feet shapes, body lengths, etc). on top of red + rope i wanted to do something subtly wedding-y, hence the wings and horns! i do regret focusing on the design more than bingqiu themselves aaa... was originally planning on secretary sqq scolding boss lbh but the dragon/phoenix thing came and swept me away. will do better next time o7 for the most part, looking to cut down heavily on the time i spend on these, good lord

I've got a vision of rouge/demonic cultivator!SY x Liu Qingge that i cannot story thinking about.

Shen Yuan transmigrates into pidw, system free he decides to frolic around the world finding monsters, being a nerdy monster biologist, staying the hell away from anything vaugely plot shaped because he is not getting caught up in that mess no thank you.

Anyway, he inadvertently winds up becoming some sort of cryptid/boogeyman to the regular citizens of the human realm. He always appears right before or alongside the attack of a dangerous monster of some sort. (It's not his fault honestly, he'll be tracking some rare beast, or following one and just happens to be around when it goes on a rampage. Ofc he uses his knowledge and cool new cultivation powers to subdue the monster, or humanely lead it away, but noone ever sees that part)

Eventually the legend of this terrifying beast master that leads monsters to villages to wreak havoc gets large enough that the cultivation sects hear about it and decide to do something.

Liu Qingge decides this is his job, terrifying demonic cultivator who can summon even more terrifying monsters to aide him? Sounds like it could lead to a battle that could actually challenge the war god.

It's almost insulting when he gets to the bottom of things and finds Shen Yuan, who definitely couldn't hurt an innocent person if he tried.
