I always see people outside of tumblr complaining about how sjw or political it is, but it really isn’t, it’s 100% a customizable experience, like any other site. 

Like, H3H3 guy Ethan was complaining about how he went on tumblr and all he saw was furry porn or whatever – as someone who has been here 6 years, unless you’re flat out looking for furry porn you’re really not gonna find it that easily, almost certain he just looked up furry porn and then complained about it in front of everyone.
