For y'all; this isn't completely blind. I know about Rocky and what he has in common with Grace (alone, dying planet, weird speech) If you are excited for that, I am sorry, but the rock is why I'm watching this, so at least there's that?

Just watched the new Supergirl movie!

I loved it, but man, if you guys have auditory issues, wait for the DVD to come out. Half the characters spoke alien and I still understood them better than the other half. Krem is one of the better villains I've seen in a while but he was not immune to the mumbling. Kara was hungover so she gets a pass for not being audible. It took me most of the movie to figure out Ruthye's name, and even now I'm blindsided by the spelling. I miss when being on television required the transatlantic accent with Proper Pronounciation. I wasn't alive then, but I miss it.

Other than something 99% of people never even noticed, my only gripe is about stuff I only noticed because I know way too much about superheroes. Like "Wouldn't Kara and Ruthye's relationship be so much more in-depth if they had Krypton's destruction be at the hands of Brainiac instead of due to the core?" Basically stuff that'll get me accused of living in my mother's basement.

Also I was not prepared for the episode length changing

I was thinking it was cringe, but knowing it was an elaborate ploy by Gen rather than Senku stroking his own ego makes it so much better.
