this song came about from a friendly songwriter’s battle. i’ve never battled anyone before but i love writing songs and i write a little every night. i’ve always had a dream where i could live in a songwriter’s building, where each songwriter would have a little SRO and at night after a communal dinner, we would sing for each other what we’d written that day.

this is my new favorite tote. i feel good that i have it bc it alleviates the ache i feel from losing my Adult. (the band) tote when i was moving apartments.

regarding that long-lost bag, only two strangers ever came up to me and identified the band (which almost certainly caused in me an immediate twinge of infatuation). most people would see the bag and say something obvious like, “Are you an adult?” But because I’m always game, I used to say things like, “According to my license, yes, but not so much in height!” (I Short, ok??)

anyway, MASANA TEMPLES is the album by Kikagaka Moyo. i love it. and i love my new tote.

ooh this one, i know it, it’s the letter ‘T’ in sign language. but did you know that sign language isn’t universal and differs from language to language. so. this is a ‘T’ in American sign language.

yo i have to give a shoutout to these two musical notes bc their fudging flags are facing the right direction!!!

i’d borrowed a graphic novel from the library written by a notable New Yorker cartoonist and in it she/he/they drew some notes and they were fudging WRONG.

THE NOTEBALLZ WERE FACING IN THE WRONG FUDGING DIRECTION IN RELATIONSHIP TO THE FLAGZZZZ.
