001. silence - to be the one i vibe with, that i spend all my time with - you know those relationships where you just need to end it? muse a met muse b on a dating app à la tinder. they got on well, maybe too well, and muse b just couldn’t get past how serious it all felt. they’re too young ( too complicated, too much ) to settle down. so muse b ghosts. complete and utter cutting off of communication. then muse b’s best friend invites them to their sibling’s engagement party some time after. all that silence and who is the sibling engaged to? muse a.
002. if i hated you - but if i leave right now, i hope you don’t find someone that touches you the way that i do - muse a and muse b met in high school and were in a band together. the band splits up and muse b begins to get some fame of their own, can’t spend as much time with muse a. so they break up. muse b has been spending years still wishing they were together. what happens when the two are face to face for the first time again? does muse b even recognize muse a? ( bonus points if muse a is suddenly in the limelight too and hasn’t been thinking about muse b all this time~ )
003. bitter - yeah, i know you think about me when you kiss her - muse b moves on quickly after a bad breakup with muse a and they’re not having it. muse a and muse b still ride in the same group of friends, still have all of the same people in their lives, the same sexual tension. they’re toxic - they find each other in the bathroom at parties, get in fights with each other outside of bars, all the while muse b’s new fling is in the dark. muse a knows they have the upper hand, but has a hard time knowing how they can continue doing this.
004. the one - you’re not the one, but you could be the one right now - resulted from a sultry night on the dance floor. muse a is all about having fun, all about a new partner every weekend. muse b is… just the same. then they find each other. maybe they try to outpace each other as the bigger player, maybe one falls and the other doesn’t. perhaps it’s a one night stand and nothing else. maybe muse b leaves muse a on the dance floor and it’s the only place they meet - again and again, until one of them breaks the cycle and can’t go on any longer. they’re in love without ever saying a word to each other.
005. shh… don’t say it - friday night, it’s a vibe, one more drink and i’m coming over - muse a and muse b have been together for about a month. muse a seems to be much more invested and deeply into the relationship ( they might even have a pinterest board for their future wedding ). muse b loves the physical aspect of their relationship, but nothing serious needs to happen. it’s a give and take and muse a is itching for it to be more, but lets muse b walk all over them just for a night together. will muse b… ever give in or will they always be avoiding feelings?
006. feel - so i’ll drink this wine like it’s medicine for the mind - muse a has tried everything to numb their pain from their divorce a few years ago. they’re unable to get over the fact that, after all this time, they still love their ex. meanwhile, their friends have constantly been picking up muse a’s pieces, trying to get them to understand that all of these things they’ve tried aren’t working for a reason. muse a seems to not accept much help, their newest endeavor into forgetting their ex being what leads them to muse b. ( up to you if muse b is a good or bad influence! )
007. sex (with my ex) - three drinks later, you’re back in my arms - trying to be friends with your ex never really works out well, does it? muse a and muse b broke up a few months ago, they’ve not really spoken much other than a few texts and the two agree to meet up again. when they end up sleeping together after a few drinks, it tumbles muse a back into a mess all over again with muse b. this cycle continues every time muse a is back in town. what muse a doesn’t know? muse b is engaged to someone else.
