so the funny thing about this scene is that in between the first gif and the second, eddie obviously makes a joke, judging by the fact that bill giggles. richie, however doesn’t laugh, instead just making a “haha i have no idea what you just said, i wasn’t paying attention” face because he’s so focused on eddie. (in my opinion, having the actual realization that the swoopy feeling in his belly from the hammock and the way his heart beats out of his chest when eddie tries some of his ice cream isn’t just a weird fluke, he’s got a crush on eddie.)

I think it’s great that we’re helping the new kid, but we also need to think about our own safety. I mean, he’s bleeding all over and you guys know there’s an AIDS epidemic happening right now as we speak, right? I mean, my mom’s friend in New York City got it just by touching a dirty pole in the subway, and she got AIDS blood into her system through a hangnail. Through a hangnail! And, and you can amputate legs and arms, but, but how do you amputate a wai… HOW DO YOU AMPUTATE A WAIST?!
