I like how they cut all his personality except for germophobia for ‘justificable’ movies running time (Billcentrism isn’t there, his desire to fix things like cars neither, the dream of running away nope, the fact that his bigger fear is a freaking man, sick because of sex, who keep offering him blowjobs for moneys don’t make me laugh, and all the other things that made him a 360° character and a gay coded guy… NAh)
But, BUT.
Adult Eddie in the book tried to remembered something from Derry and, on the way of the baseball field, he saw the old house of Greta Keene and said he liked her back and shoulders when he was a child (And I’m gonna write about that scene because there’s A LOT to say even there) and

I actually feel this way too now that I think about it…I love Jack as Eddie but they really dumbed his character down to just being ‘the germaphobe’ when he was so much more than that
