  She blushed at the woman’s question, “Well.. work. I can definitely understand being busy… but also… I’ve been spending some time with Sir Flik.”

She hid her face behind her teacup now, a smile on her lips. She knew she could trust Leona not to spread that around, but.. even if she did, it’s not that the news wouldn’t travel fast enough anyway.

Flik? Did she hear that correctly?

Leona leaned her right arm over the table and perched her head on the left and leaned in with genuine curiosity. She raised an arched eyebrow and smiled. "Flik? Have you fallen for the my poor blue boy? I wouldn't say you would be the first."

Leona taped her finger on her chin in thought. Flik didn't receive the whims of women that well in the past. She certainly did not want Jeane to get hurt. 

"Is Flik treating you well? If not, I can talk some sense into him."

  Jeane smiled up at Leona now and thanked her for the tea. “Would you care to join me then? I would love some company.” Lately she had spent a lot of time with Viktor, Flik, and Luc and had really missed having some women to speak with. 

"How have you been lately?"

Leona smiled graciously at the runemistress and sat across from her. It was a while since she had also talked to a woman conversationally. Her talks with Rina, Anita, Valeria, or Lo Wen were always brief due to her being busy with the customers. 

"I've mostly been busy. And tired." She admitted. "It is a lot of fun however."

"I've missed our talks however. And what's keeping you from visiting often, hmm?"

  Jeane looked up at Leona now, the beautiful barkeep’s smile could brighten even the dullest of days. “Could I please start with a cup of tea? I would like to think about food for a few moments, if that is okay?” She looked down at the table and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before looking back up at her.

The runemistress offered up a smile of her own now and looked over the all-familiar menu, mulling through all the delicious options. Sure, there was a restaurant in the castle, but she loved the cozy atmosphere at Leona’s far more.. no offense to Hai-yo, of course.

Leona smiled at the lovely runemistress. "That is fine, dear. Take all the time you need." She walked to the back and returned, setting down a teacup down as well as the saucer. She had come with also a medium sized teapot that was steaming from the spout. "Let it brew for a little bit and be careful; it's very hot."

"How have you been? Don't rush on the order, there's hardly anyone keeping me busy at the moment."

"Some romance has developed I see while I was away~"

"I missed you~" He hummed, pulling her into a warm hug. Viktor had a full grin on his face and softly said, "Happy National Bear Day, Leona."

Leona felt Viktor pull her into a large, warm hug and she laughed and embraced him as well.

"Thank you, my dear."

Dear Leona  Mother, 

Can I call you that? I’m sorry  I always referred to you as Leona but it never really felt right, y’know? I was hoping that mother felt better on my tongue and it does. I just hope that you’re okay with this. 

I’m sorry I’m not here to give these to you in person, Lord Riou wanted me to come along for a mission in the afternoon so I had to sneak these in at dawn, heh. 

I’m not good with letters but before I can no longer send these letters, I want to say thank you. Thank you for all the things you’ve done for me. My mother, she was a beautiful woman and, I think she’d be proud to know that…you’ve been given this great role and glad to find me, finally discovering a new family. All on my own. 

The days you’ve been there, cleaned up my messes and brought me to bed. You were always there to pick me back up. Sometimes I wonder, why you chose me of all people and my inevitable destiny along with it. I don’t deserve your kindness, a man like me can’t be seen with somebody like you. 

I really love you, mom. 

I just want to say that before I’m left alone again.
