I am a dark beer lover. I love Irish car bombs (not the best thing to order in an airport bar fyi), stouts...oatmeal ales. Love em. So Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout seemed like a good example for tonight. It's tasty. Not much head. Strong coffee chocolatey flavor that stays with you from sip to swallow. 9.1% by volume. Strong. Grab a bottle next time your at Bevmo or wherever you buy your crafts. Its well worth the effort.
Evil Cousin Ale Double IPA...basically an IPA on steroids. Malty... touches of bread and caramel that is a bit sweet. The end is a bit bitter, but that's just a product of it being a hoppy beer. Overall...tasty. #hereticale #evilcousin

You know…i don’t care what anybody says. Pour yourself a glass of Guinness…thats a sexy beer. Watching the body roll up through the glass….damn!
This is a 5 hop IPA. Admiral, celeia, topaz, challenger and my personal fave…cascade. In my home brews I generally use 3. The ratio that is used for this one…spot on.
Nitro IPA tastes…like a Guinness should…clean to the end. Nice creamy foam head. Yeah. Luis Ortega did good!
