Been seeing alot of people really stressed out about posting.

And yeah, Practice queuing your posts, you’ll feel a lot better about things getting posted. You can go days sometimes without adding anything, and anything you’re worried about posting you get to forget about.

Also you can just… not post period. No ones owed anything, you aren’t being paid to run an account, it’s a blog. You get to post whatever you feel like! It yours. Post that cat, go silent for theee weeks, chat with you friends on the side, Que a shit tone of reblogs you really like, close the app for two days, go on a walk.

You can do anything, nothing is your responsibility here but general decency.

You’re not a machine, you’re not duties by journalism, you’re a whale swimming with a bunch of friends and singing.

I dislike Fourth of July, unfortunately a little less for the obvious reasons (colonialism, the current political climate, the late stage capitalism) than I should, and more immediate of the fact that I know my parents don’t feel well with them as veterans. And they aren’t going to sleep well any night(people were setting them off as early as Wensday) until people stop firing them.

And that makes me fucking sad.
